Sorry if this has been talked again but i was with a very early version of this ROM until yesterday when i installed the 8.21. So i would like to ask if it is normal for the soft buttons bar to be double the size to the previous versions.

You need to make sure you are posting in the correct ROM thread. According to the Original Post, there is no 8.21 (August 21) build. If you posted in error, please contact a Mod for post deletion. Just "RP" your post.

The ROM reports an update, and when firing up Goo Manager, the following update is shown:
skz_tenderloin-2.11_jb_4.2.2-21AUG2013-190125.zip

So no, I don't think that guy is posting in error... there IS a schizoid 21AUG2013 update, just only those running the rom know about it via Goo Manager.

Yeah, and this is 4.1.2 so there is an error in the build.prop withe goo I.D which means that 08/21 is indeed a different ROM.

I did the update, it has schizoid animation but totally different look. android.process.acore error keep popping up and old gapps package is not working.

Just flashed my Touchpad from CM9 to this ROM. Also flashed gapps in the 1st post. When I tried to install any app (I tried several) via Google Play Store,however, I always got this error "<AppName> could not be downloaded due to an error (500).

How can I resolve this problem? I already flashed gapps several times but no luck :(

** It's fixed now. Seem like a problem caused by the Google server (what a coincidence it happened just when I flashed my Touchpad ;) )

I reset my touchpad and whenever I do something related to google or transfer files from sendanywhere, it shows two tablets instead of one. Anyone know a fix for this? thanks in advance!

    INSTRUCTIONS TO FLASH

    • - Make A Backup
      - First time users only: If you're currently running a non-CM10 ROM, do a full wipe (factory reset & system)
      - Wipe cache and dalvik
      - Flash ROM And Gapps
      - Reboot
    USER NOTES/BUGS
    • Everything works including camera, gyroscope, sound, accelerometer, battery stats, etc.!
    • You should expect conflicts between the various ROM controls, especially the UI controls between AOKP and PA.
    • For first time users after bootup:

      Settings > System > Navigation Bar >Tablet UI soft buttons, check
      Settings > Rom Control > General UI > Show Menu UI Overflow (otherwise there is no way to enable MTP, open browser settings, wifi settings, etc)
      Settings > Storage> Menu (three-buttons at top right)-> USB Computer Connection > Media device (check MTP)to make sure your TP usb charges properly. I had to go into portrait to see the three buttons. It should already be checked
      ​
    • To get softkey buttons in navbar, go to Settings->System->Navigation bar->Tablet UI soft buttons (check)
    • AOKP tablet UI setting overrides PA's.
    • To set phablet or phone mode, first uncheck AOKP's setting:
      Settings->ROM Control->General UI->Force Tablet UI
      then
      Launch option at Settings->Paranoid Settings, pick your UI
      Use the Pie Launcher in phone mode
    • PA UI reboots may shutdown or hang. Just reboot, i.e. hold power key to restart if shutdown, power and menu keys if hung.
    • tbob's WebOS Switcher app works.Updated WebCM10 for Schizoid 01/12/13 but you will have to reconfigure the systemui.apk each time you change modes.
    • LMT Pie Control in settings allows PA 2.99-like pie launcher (with permission noname81)
    • Using the Touchstone charger is funky. If you have problems with the tablet not charging, go to Settings > Storage > Menu (three-buttons at top right)-> USB Computer Connection > Media device (MTP), disable MTP, enable camera mode, then re-enable MTP. This also works with usb charging problems.

    Updated ROM 01FEB13 Available

    I've posted an updated ROM that merges upstream and is now the first, and only, TP CM9 or CM10 ROM with working battery statistics in Settings. Not a big deal, but every little thing that makes this a complete ROM is a victory. No other changes in operation so you can probably flash it without cleaning caches, although for the little extra time it takes, I don't recommend it. Enjoy.

    [UPDATED ROM] SCHIZOID 1.1 Available

    I have uploaded an updated ROM complete with a fixed ParanoidPreferences application and upstream commits. For those of you who haven't noticed, there is a comprehensive CPU performance application called Performance Control pre-installed. The CPU frequency slider settings now work it in the same manner as ROMControl. Additionally, tbob's latest WebOS Switcher works with this version. Enjoy!
