Thanks again Chad, the support you provide for a device that you don't even have is outstanding. Its makes me feel as though decision to resist the urge to purchase N5 was the correct one.

Are the installation instructions on first page still current?

Looks like you managed to install it. Did you change recovery as said in thread or modified zip? I can't install it because install script says it's not one of the supported devices (e975). I'm using PhilZ touch recovery.

Tried the gui and the manual (adb) way of installing TWRP, it failed. (CWM installed)
TWRP bricked my first G though..

i have installed this flashable zip of twrp via CWM on my e975. Worked perfectly and is the only way to root the device on android 4.4. It's the file i recommend for my readers, nobody complained so far. i think it should work with this rom too, but i have only tested with mine.

My G died again with TWRP Thank god for ADB manual rescue.
