I had microbes out of the box w/ 4.0.4, I remember because it was my go to minimalist lwp, and it also illuminated the gnex's lag with them, for me. Before I seem like I'm trying to instigate anything with anyone, I'll clarify, that my interjection was soley to point out, in my purely stock experience, using ota every time, that microbes was inexplicably missing, come jb. This thread actually made me notice that lol

I believe the file in this thread is from the nexus one/nexus s gingerbread port, I've tried several ICS apk files from stock ota and from AOKP neither worked. Both force closed after installing

My guess the reason that the Microbes LWP got removed in JB is that it just makes switching homescreens terribly slow. It's not like Microbes is the only LWP which has that effect on the GN, I tried several other LWP from the Play Store and most of them add lag when switching homescreens. Even though my HTC Desire had no problem with those LWP's (the resolution is lower, but the GN has better hardware so it should be smooth).

Why Google never adressed this is beyond me..

Had it on an older version of Camcory's CM10, it disappeared in the newest build (4.1.2) and I wanted it back. Switched to the new build of PACMan and it wasn't there (also 4.1.2) any more, either. Bloodflame linked me here, installed the apk, no lib, works perfectly. Simple as could be. No lag, either. Thanks, OP and link provider!!! :thumbup:

I got it from cm10 on my xperia mini and they are quite voracious, but when I installed it on my nexus 7 they seemed quite lazy,anyone else noticed it?
