Basically, in the attached picture is the implementation I currently have in the dock. Due to the lack of free time I was unable to continue with implementing the MHL adapter inside so I guess I'll drop that one.

If you need any details based on the attached picture do not hesitate to ask.

And to answer the ones asking if I'm thinking to sell these : Actually that thought crossed my mind. I have other mods done on my Galaxy Nexus also (see the Ringke inductive charging mod) and also other great stuff that I'm building by exercising my hobby. Unfortunately, when I'm pushing like 70-80 hours a week on my daily job there is little to none spare time left .. and the little I got I'm spending it with my son. In a relative future when I'll have more spare time (or no job) I'll consider starting a business based on the know-how I've gathered until now.
Hello, I want to modify my dock for the Tab 10.1. some do not understand the scheme

Sorry for my bad english

Look up the "make your own cables thread"..
Some where in last few pages my posts have good detailed info and pics of the modded dock with external power wires ive attached.
I only added power and earth and worked for using external powered hdd via otg usb no other resisters required except the 20k host resister.
For this pic what hes done is added a way to switch on the extra resisters and switch them off after charge has been triggered.
once its triggered you can remove it.an easy way to look at this is using the standard dock just add you power and negative 5v like how i did it..
now plug you wall charger into the dock but (dont power it from the wall) and it will trigger charge as has the said resisters on the data lines.now you can remove the wall charger and you will see its still charging..only power and neg attached now no resisters being used.Resisters are only to trigger charge.as i found my powered external usb hdd i plugged in seemed to trigger the charge with out using the resisters method.

I spent a long time stuffing around making different cable set ups with switches etc to trigger the resisters and then switch back to host but in the end found it wasnt needed and seemed to give me nothing but trouble as wouldnt repeat the same thing in a row.it worked one minuet then not the next time. Some how its like the galaxy tab seems to remember what was plugged in the last time and when you re plug it in it has trouble as if you got to turn it off to reset it.not quite sure how to explain it but this was my thoughts after countless hours of playing with it.in the end i just gave up and use the hdd to trigger charge.for me that was my only reason to use otg usb just to watch movies.anybody that watches movies via otg hdd should do this modd as it quickly depleats the battery in host mode..

Open up the dock...

The 12 pin connecter inside the dock is as follows..

Pin 1 = 30 Shield Connector **********************add earth here from 5v source....(-)
Pin 2 = 28
Pin 3 = 27
Pin 4 = 13
pin 5 = 19
pin 6 = 18
pin 7 = 17
pin 8 = 6
pin 9 = 7 ******************add power here from 5v source....(+)
pin 10 =3
pin 11 =4
pin 12 = 1+2

pin 1 for neg and is the LH pin.
pin 9 which is 4th pin from RH side..

This is all i did only 2 wires added..

First step...
check you dock with a test light and confirm the surrounding pins are not shorting where you soldered.
once this part ok then continue..

1.connect dock to tablet BUT make sure Tablet is switched off at this moment...
2.connect 5v power and earth wires to power source you added to dock from 5v usb etc...
3.plug in OTG dongle to dock and Connect Powered Usb Hdd and Turn on Hdd power supply.
4.Noted is Tablet is Still Off at this stage..You will have a Black Screen and when you plugged in the
power for the HDD its now showing the battery charging icon similar to when you plug in a wall charger.
5.Now Turn tablet on but dont press any thing or do anything just let it load up and go to lock screen.
6.In lock screen you now should see "charging"...
7.swipe screen and let Tablet turn on.
8.wait for superuser permissions to load paragon or what ever you are using.
9.open Paragon and check drive is recognised and also mounted automatically ..if not mount it now manually.
10.open up my files and open location of drive to view contents.then open up a movie from the contents of the drive
11.play a movie using the MX player app.
12 Pause it and go settings/aboutdevice/status of battery and see that battery is "AC Charging".
13.your drive is mounted and working and you are now OTG host mopde and charging at same time..

Also if this doesnt work...It might be kernal related..I can confirm it worked on ICS..but havent confirmed JB yet.
hope this helps you...
