Note - According to user reports, this ROM works on S5830I, S5830C, S5830M and S5839I. Flash on your own risk, I am not responsible for any damages that may occur.


Features :

Based on XLA2.
Two versions. Barebones and extreme barebones.
Removed bloatware
ALSA audio mod
Network tweaks
Speed tweaks
Kernel tweaks
Zipalign on every boot
Preinstalled adrenaline engine
Many more but these are signifcant..




Instructions :

1) Copy the downloaded zip to your sd card.
2) Make sure your device is rooted and you have ClockWorkMod recovery installed.
3) Switch of your phone.
4) Reboot into recovery by pressing home+power buttons simultaneously
5) Wipe data/factory, cache and dalvik cache
6) Select 'install zip from sd card'
7) Navigate to the downloaded file
8) Press home button
9) Scroll down to 'yes' using volume keys and press home button.
10) Wait till the flashing process is finished.
11) Reboot and Enjoy


Barebones :
Gmail, Google Maps, Google search , Voice Search and Youtube app have been removed in the barebones version to decrease ROM size. These apps can downloaded manually from market if needed.

Extreme barebones :
Along with the above Google apps, all other Samsung bloatware, sns, una, dlna, some libs, notification sounds, ringtones, shutdown animation have been removed!


Anyone is free to use retribution as a base ROM. No need to PM me or any other TeamCooper member. Just give credits to us and a link to this thread.

Since I am busy with school and exams, I cant update this rom for a while. Shaaan is the new maintainer of this rom
