[Collection][GUIDE] HTC One Stock Recoveries

Hey guys I am trying to reflash my stock recovery back on my phone since i removed it and flashed TWRP instead. after i did that that was when i realised that i can't get any more OTA updates on my phone so i am on a mission to put back the stock recovery to be able to recieve OTA updates back on my phone again. The issue i am running into right now it has to do with my CID being: BS_US001. And my Version-main being: 4.06.1540.3. Based on the list of images on the forum i am not able to find a recovery that would match my version-main. Any idea where i can find the right recovery for my phone. What if i flashed 4.06.1540.2 instead would that break my Phone? Any help will be highly appreciated.

Well, this is probably not a bug. AFAIK there is the possibility that under some circumstances you cannot enter the HTC recovery. Why do you want to enter the recovery exactly?

to update to KK via the OTA. I tried after the flash of Recovery seemed successful.
The flash of 4.4 also seems successful with the blue progress line, but I'm still at 4.3.
I did check the CID and "version-main" with Terminal.

You have to tell me what exactly you did to try and get the KitKat update.
Did you change something except for the recovery (CustomROM)?

No custom rom. Previously/currently stock 4.3 with Elemental X for the purpose of S2W. I was on TWRP as my sig shows.

Then the kernel is the problem because FOTA not only checks for the recovery but for all partitions. This means you have to get the stock kernel before you're able to update.
Therefore I'd suggest you try to get a TWRP backup to restore the original kernel.

The T-Mobile US OTA to 4.4.2/5.5 is very very picky. It will not update using any other recovery than the T-Mobile version of the stock recovery that is on the 4.3 release. None of the "universal"recoveries will work.

The way I updated mine is I used the RUU for the 4.3 version to return my phone to pure stock (I'm S-OFF), then let it do the OTA update to 4.4.2. Then I unlocked the bootloader again and re-rooted it.

    You have to tell us which CID you have (in fastboot mode): fastboot getvar cid
