hi

I'm assuming you didn't flash the firmware yet right? The easiest way to flash a firmware is to get super cid (11111111). Go hereand follow step 4. Then you can flash this without worrying. The second link is just to the 3.32 firmware.

hi guys, im kinda new here...

i tried following some steps but to no avail ...

i bought a htc sensation, it was on cynagenmod7 and i tried to flash anew cynagenmod10..

i flashed the new rom sucessfully but it will just go to a bootloop,

it will actually go to cynogenmod logo, then it will go to the set-up screen then it will just reset..

before i flashed the rom, i do full wipe...

im really desperate guys..please help:(

and oh, here's some info about the phone

you have bootloops because you are still on gingerbread firmware
you have to upgrade your firmware first

flash 3.33 universal from here
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1459767
follow the instructions to the letter
and before flashing check md5 sums(important)

Flash the Firmware 3.33 before you go for the ROM, then do a full wipe and lastly, flash the ROM. This way, you should have no bootloops or whatsoever.

hi

can you post again now your current bootloader details to avoid any confusion?
i want to see which ruu you used.the ics one or the gb one

to be honest, i dont have the phone right now, im actually using a different phone..

but i check it earlier

its on gb 2.3.3
its still on hboot 1.17
and i used this ruu RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Asia_WWE_1.35.707.1_Radio_10.43a.9007.00U_10.51.9007.27_M3

quick question: im still on supercid, can i flash this direclty PG58IMG.zip hTC-Stock-FirmWare-3.33.401.6 (HBOOT-1.29.0000+boot.img+Radio+Recovery+etc.) ? i found this on one of the htc site

probably you can
but this firmware it is not for your region plus you will remain on stock.is this what you want?

i suggest to flash 3.33 universal from the firmware thread if you want to install cm 10(actually if you want to make it boot)

Pal, this file happens to be on my site, that is why I allowed myself answering.
No, this is not the file you are advised to flash! The directory is named "hTC Stock Firmware" so in that file the Recovery is hTC Stock! You had better flash the Universal Firmware-3.33 in which there is included the 4Ext Recovery 1.0.05 RC9. That will make a really good difference! From then on, you can install any ROM that is ICS or JellyBean.

The Universal Firmware-3.33 is placed on the first page of the site, since it is far more important, and far more useful - http://htc.vi8.info - PG58IMG.zip - Firmware from 3.33.401.106 for ICS ROM's (HBOOT-1.29, Radio 11.24A, 4Ext 1.0.0.5-RC9, ADSP) 20,814,763 bytes

your hboot version refers to ics firmware but you have gb firmware
you have supercid which means that you are suppose to be on S-OFF but you are on S-ON
how did you manage to go like this?

nvm since you have supercid flash any ics ruu.exe

if it fails then use this guide to S-OFF
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1661631

request to that thread for the windows version of the tool

So I have read through this entire post and have researched a few of the tips, but have some questions. When I went into boot load I had the same thing as Ventura, but I installed the update PMG and now I have:

    PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
    HBOOT-1.27.1100
    RADIO-11.23.35074.07_M2
    OpenADSP-v02.6.0.226.000131
    eMMC-boot

I think I went wrong by not changing to super CID and I tried flashing a new ROM. So my next step should be to install 4EXT Recovery and install a new ROM? Or do I need to change to Super CID?

Thanks ahead of time for any help.

    Felipe

nope supercid is not required ...its for flashing firmware and you already did that (now that universal firmware came ..supercid is kinda redundant)

just 4EXT ..backup your current rom form 4EXT ..do a complete wipe from 4EXT ..then flash the ROM

    happy flashing :D

Thank you so much for your help, but this is extremely hard ive been working at this for four nonstop days nothing seems to work when i do the adb my computer doesnt recognize the device im just going to give up

    Well, don't give up!
There's no saying what your problem could be. I've tried to identify everything one step at a time eliminating one possible source of problem at a time.
Now is not the time to give up.
You must follow those steps. One of them will solve your problem for sure!
PS: I know how frustrating it can be. If you want step by step help, come on over to the IRC channel. (signature)

didn't you super CID? try to super CID...follow fourth step here http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1192300

then get the 3.32 firmware. your CID will be 11111111 so anyone will work for you.

your main problem is the firmware, don't worry :)
