Flash is alive !!
But not on android it seems.
I use flash for movies on my PC fine using Opera.
But despite all the claims, the various browsers, and numerous versions, It really does look like Flash is dead, and adobe has finally killed it.
Certainly on the HP touchpad and most if not all android mobiles anyway.
So whats going on? Anyone ?
I too have read the thousands of blogs (most are copies of each other) with so called alternatives.
Hell even opera has sided with the devil and uses chrome under its hood for its latest PC versions (and its crap).
Thankfully its far better earlier versions still play fine, and are miles better to boot.
But still nothing for android and the myriad of android devices dependent on flash to play streaming vids, games and other good stuff..
And you only have to start typing 'flash' here on xda in a search box to see the many thousands of searches for the same answer.
So it really is an issue for many people.
But what i dont get, is that this community of brilliantly clever programmers / hackers and developers just dont appear to know where to begin to build a working alternative or a working answer. Is this now the end of mankind or just android ?
Surly if there was a solution to be found anywhere it would be here.
But the fact there isnt, and only a very few worthy for trying but useless alternatives are out there, means mankind will continue to have a problem that can only get worse for years to come
