Yes. WIFI ALWAYS ON. Even when using HSPA+. Auto Sync ON. GPS ON. Bluetooth OFF, never use it. NFC off. Auto Brightness, but I always notice it on the dimmest setting.

Slim 3.8 that's all. Any questions?

Impressive screen on time, but I don't really understand why you guys are so fixated on having the longest screen time. What the hell do you do on the phone for 5-7 hours straight? I'd be happy enough to get even 2 on my Verizon Gnex when i'm outside.

Why do you think its 5-7 hours straight? Its not, its cumulative use throughout the day, that's the point of the benchmark. And screen time is the only universal thing that can be used to judge each other. There's not really another function we can compare.

Well.. 4hrs was a complete luck.
Seems that 16-18hrs of standby and 2-2.5hrs of screen time is my standard.

The only advice i can give for some good battery is manage your connections. If your not using 3g... turn data off. That will dramatically reduce battery consumption. Coming up on 1 day 7 hours with 3.5 hours of display with 10% left... battery doesnt drop until i pick it up and start playing with it. Otherwise it would drop less than a percentage an hour... probably even better. Also make sure you dont have apps that poll for data when data is off.. that will cause wakelocks and will eat the battery. What ROM, Kernel, etc will not help battery, "only you can prevent wildfires" same deal.. only you can make it have good battery.

Here's mine on Verizon with the extended battery using aokp 37 and Franco kernel 166. This is all on wifi though, so it won't be that good on 3g/4g.

5h screen is possible, but useless IMHO..

In most cases, it's the usage to determinate how much time you can stand without insert the AC plug.

Surely now we can see film like LOTR without AC adapter xD

Forgot.. I'm with Ezekeel Glados 1.34, stock rom 4.0.4 and 2000mah battery.

I get 2 days + o - with light use!

I think we are ignoring the bigger issue. You are staring at your phone for 4+ hours a day. :)

It all depend on usage i think.
Sometimes i only managed 2-3h of screen time, sometimes 4h+

    Yeah that is the key.
