Hey guys thanks for all the replys. For those of you that get to beta test I just want to say this is beta. I need you to test it oh how it's working find the bugs so that i can fix them for the offical release. The beta isn't going to make you a themeing machine. I just helps you along the way.
What I really need from you guys is to if it a good run threw on all the options and make sure they are doing what they are supposed to. There is still some coding that need to be done on zip them all up in to a flashable theme but that is easy. I need to make sure all options that are enabled are working correctly.
With that being said. If you test and find bugs I need to know step by step of what you did to cause the errror so I can reproduce it here.
Just to add to the awesomeness that IDIOT is those of you that test will be included in to the credits that is inside IDIOT as beta testers.
Suggestions,Comments,Requests for features are always welcome.

I am not on a mac. This will be available for windows first and then I will port it over to linux.

Just some info on this. You can NOT build themes with this out of the box. You must build your PNG Data Base. You do this with the Download Pngs to DB. You select the .zip file of the theme you wish to pull the .png files from.

IDIOT is a theme builder \ mod util.

13Thanks to bdemartino for writing this up.
1. From the main form you can select Download png's to DB from the Theme menu. This will allow you to import images to your database from existing themes allowing you to port them into new .apk's (for example, if you needed to update your theme - or if you wanted to do a mashup of a few theme's easily)
2. In this form select a .zip file that contains the theme'd .apk's you would like to import. The program will automatically pull the appropriate .apk's from both /system/ and /app/ directories for importing.
3. Next you will see the Rip png's from a theme form. On this form you can see all of the .apk's from the selected .zip. You will select which ones you would like to import by double clicking their name, this will extract the .png's from the theme and ready them to be imported to the database. You can also preview the images to the right. You would then click the extract button to bring them into the database. However, if you would like to easily sort these out later you can add a Png Type tag to each .png automatically as it imports to the database.
To do this; Check the Auto Png ID box. Select one from the list or if you want to add a custom one simply enter it into the box (you can hit enter to save it, or if you forget it will automatically save the id for you.) It will automatically add the theme name to the description as well, unless you prefer something different.
4. After importing to the database you can close the screen. To view the database click the Theme menu and click view png database (This may take awhile once you have a large database created, this is being worked on)
On this form you will see all of the .apk's that have themed .png's existing in your database. You'll notice that its organized and the actual apk is named 1.png (and 2.png and so on) These are the different variations of the .png which gives you the ability to see which ones you have in your database compared to the ones existing in the theme you are working on. It is also used to swap in the .png's after you have started creating a theme, which will be covered below. Right now you can simply see all of your images that you have imported.
5. After you've familiarized yourself with the database and png ripping portion of the program, it's time to set up your base theme so that you can begin creating your first theme.
Begin this by clicking on Theme menu in the main form, and selecting set base theme. On this form you will drag and drop the base .apk's that you will be themeing from your database. This means, you put the .apk's that have not been theme'd from the base rom you are creating the theme for. (For example, if you were themeing H57 you would want the stock .apk's from that file.) You will need to have these available from your pc, so pull them out of the .zip's into a folder on your desktop to begin with. You'll want any app .apk's and framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk for a full theme. Close when finished.
6. Next now that we have our base theme set and our database ready to go, we will select New Theme from the main form (of course if you had already created one and needed to finish it off, you could use open theme) Choose a name and enter it. This will load the .apk's that you just set in the base theme form, so that they are ready to be modified.

I have decided to release a dumbed down version of IDIOT to let some testing be done. It is NOT fully functional. This is just to let you guys get your grubby little hands on it and give me some feedback.

This version of IDIOT will let you guys play with the PNG DB and allow you to start building your data base.
Setting up IDIOT
To use IDIOT you must either copy 7za.exe to a systems folder (ie: windows folder) or add the location of the IDIOT folder to your systems path.
To run IDIOT you must run it as ADMIN or it will not work correctly.
I have not taken the time to build an installer for it yet.
