Hi codeworkx. I notice something that the checker box screen distortion is happening on some application with dark out background. Like when OK dialog popup and the background behind the OK dialog box turn grey or when u press on the OK button screen flicker with line across and some checker box on the screen.

I know some encounter on the recent apps screen but what about other apps with the above mention grey out when OK dialog box popup

Anyone else encounter this?

Sometime the camera have problem connecting due to other camera apps you have and some time it use to other camera apps setting try restarting and and if after restart problem still persist look for the camera apps and clear data on all the camera apps.

Photo data maybe lost if you clear data so backup first before you clear data

When someone calls u..sorry forgot to specify tat..

Orion ringing tone mean the default or custom ringing tone?

I used to b on CM when i m using note 1 and using a custom ringing tone (R2D2) but when someone calls,it juz ring once n went into silent n doesnt loop.

I was wondering if tis is the case for CM10..

Hi codeworkx thanks for the hard work. But there is like battery drainage issue? And would like to ask if any one is working on the screen distortion checker box issue?

Could we have some very small toggle programs for the gps, the wifi, bt, wifi AP and so on so that we could use them in some profile apps ?

For example I'd like my phone to switch to car mode (BT on, wifi AP on, GPS on) when it detects I am leaving the home wifi network and to switch back to home mode (wifi AP off, GPS off, BT off) when it detects I am leaving the car BT and gettong connected to the home wifi network.

I have an app that does that (handy profiles) but there are no toggles to switch on and off the various devices.

If we could have very small apps that do the toggle (just like pulling the menu bar and pressing the toggle in fact) it would be great and open up the door to some macro editing and so on..

Thanks

there should be enough apps on play store which can do that.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Not sure where you're getting your info from but that reason I have to use another Kernal is because the stock DOESN"T WORK.

If you need me to help you diagnose this problem let me know but for the moment its broken for me.

the latest nightly comes with a kernel which is using mali r3p1 driver and the system comes with mali r3p1 libraries.
if those don't match you get a black screen.

nearly all custom kernels are not updated yet and use r3p0 which means missmatch -> black screen.

Yep, we did it again! Our opensource audio HAL seems to work almost fine.
Incall earpiece, speaker, mic and bluetooth are working. A2dp works also.
Since Google Now works properly i assume the Camcorder will be fine, too.
    Headset is working aswell.

    Download: cm-10.1-20130125-UNOFFICIAL-t0lte.zip
    Please test it.

    Known bugs:
    - mic mute broken during calls

i m sorry but i dont know how can i tar it and i dont know what tar is...

sorry and thank you for your help..

don't get me wrong, but if you're that inexperienced then you shouldn't flash custom roms to your phone.
