Adblock doesn't seem to work?

Even though I'm using adblock plus I seem to receive ads in apps, why? I've never seen this before

I am running BigTinCan's AdFree and LBE Security Master's built-in ad removal, haven't seen a single blurb.

Could be something application-related.

Some apps have their ad built into it, if so the adblocker can't do anything (because sometime they have it connect through their own server)... In this case the only way to remove ads is to modify the app itself
