Easyest way...

To go back to previous firmware (ICS V10x_00) with LGFlash Tool there is no need to invent in device properties
or others...
The same methode can be used to do a clean install of the V20A, or other...

Internal memory will be wiped !!!

Be sure that you have the latest drivers installed:
http://www.4shared.com/file/rPpP2btT/LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN3.html
http://www.4shared.com/file/ZSMf2x6n/LGUSBModemDriver_Eng_WHQL_Ver_.html

kdz-update: (updated 08-09-2015)
http://www.4shared.com/rar/mo5bLPRcce/kdz-udpate.htmll

install "msxml" (its inside the "kdz-update" folder).

run windows enabler and turn it ON

With battery on the phone and the phone off, press "VOL-" and connect the phone
to the computer while pressing, you'll be in S/W. (If you have issues due the device
being recognized while in S/W Mode, disconnect from PC, take out the battery and
put it back again on the phone, try again "Vol- & connect to PC", wait a few seconds
for Windows to recognize the device).

Run "LGFlashTool" (its inside the "kdz-upload" folder).
select the .dz and the .dll

Official euro_open V20A_00 .dz and .dll:

Go to "port settings" and select all 16 ports.
View attachment 1784756

Start the upgrade clicking in the yellow arrow on the top/left of the program window.
Three (3) ports will look like comunicating (in the next image you'll see only two cause I'm not really flashing), but
only one is the right one. Two of them will stay stucked in x% and a third port will go higher. Memorize the one that goes higher cause is that one.

In my case, this time was the nr. 3.
View attachment 1784757

Close the program and re-start it. This time, go to "port settings" and select only the port that you memorized,
start the upgrade and you just need to wait for the phone to reboot.
In case of that port fails, choose one of the other two untill you hit the good one.
If you don't see 3 ports, its something wrong and probably this won't work...
Easy :D

To set manually the port to "1", connect the phone in S/W Mode, open windows "Device Manager",
select “LGE CDMA USB Serial Port”, right click in "properties", connection settings advanced and set it to “com41″

Video added:
(select full screen and 1080p for better resolution)

Report if something doesn't work ;)

This post was edited cause I realise that is not always the first port the right one, sorry...

    anyone there to help me
I don't believe that after 4 years people still have problems flashing this device.... I still have it, a damn good phone!!! I also have a g2 mini but lg 4x is much better looking and it might sound weird but, after bloatware being uninstalled 4X HD is faster :)
I still flash my phone like I always did. See http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=38838927&postcount=7
Sometimes, mostly after I reinstall my windows, I need more time for the phone (all the hardware) be recognized and drivers be installed, but apart of that I never had problems. Just need to click on the icon when windows shows that detected a device and wait until see all the hardware with a green mark. Only after that is possible to proceed.
If someone have a problem following my method, I thing that the drivers are not the correct ones, or the cable is not good, or some other problem with the computer.
All the files and programs are provided to download on the link above, soo...

If you're having problems with this device, never try to root a LG2 mini. That's a real headache!!! :silly:

Good luck to all and keep calm, no rush!!!

    Best regards,

Thank you for the instructions. I managed to downgrade to v10 and upgrade to v20 using your method.

However, the LG Flash Tool needs to be run as an Adminstrator, otherwise it would not work. I found out the hard way. May be you can consider adding this to your instructions as more people will be using Windows 7 and Windows 8 which would be a problem.

    Cheers!
