[ROM][OFFICIAL][Marshmallow 6.0][D2ATT] PAC-ROM

hey does anyone know how to set the notifications drop down so that:

when I have a message or notification and I swipe down from the notification bar, it shows the notification BUT

when there are no notifications, it automatically shows the settings menu by default?

I feel like 2 releases ago, it had done that but now it doesnt... dunno if I'm dreaming but lol does anyone know?

Hey guys I was wondering what version of KTs Kernel would play nice with PACs rom? I'm getting boot loops on his latest one he just released that states it's 10,000 times faster.. thanks

On a possibly unrelated note, back when my phone was on Stock Touchwiz and wasn't rooted, I could pull down at the top of the screen, in any app, to see the notification drawer. Can't find this feature on any ROM... would it be too much to ask to incorporate it into this one?

I have no idea why you can't use your notification bar.

Everyone else uses the notification bar. Unless if you've accidentally turned PIE on. If that's the case then use your thumb and stay at the very lowest part of your screen and pull up. You can edit the pie settings in toolbars

Zooming from the camera just cuts pixels, it's the same thing as cropping your photo after taking it, don't zoom on a phone digital camera. If you must, zooming can vw accomplished by using the volume buttons.

I don't know. Try using the PIE

Try downloading smart statusbar from the playstore.

Try the stock kernel or the latest KT747 (from the last pages, not the OP). They have been pretty solid for me with the interactive or ktoonservative governor. However, I noticed that the conservative governor does not play nice and will cause artifacts and screen tearing, probably due to not boosting to touch responses like the other governors.

I'd been on the every test release kt put out each one gave nee random reboots :/ oh and I did a clean flash to v22.0.1. I never stick with the stock kernel, I enjoy having lots of control over how my phone behaves. But I should've tried the stock. I use the ktoonservative governor all the time for the hot plugging controls. I also pretty aggressively undervolt. But my undervolting hasn't changed in the past month.

I'm going to be back on the next release, right now I'm on slim.

Up till now yours was the only 4.2 Rom I'd flashed. I know I'd promised donating once but my college lifestyle and my darn 68 vw beetle leave me with little extra funds. I had to dump like $3k into a long block.

I've been using the 3/30 "Test E" version of KT's kernel since early yesterday morning, and everything has been stable so far. I can never get ktoonservative governor settings to stick, though. I'm using conservative and row.

Edit: I went into a boot loop shortly after posting this. I had to do a full wipe and reflash this ROM. I'm gonna stick with the stock kernel for now, until I have time to give KT's 3/31 version a try.

Guys the instability with ktoonsez's kernel is from a binary thermal throttling file called thermald under system/bin. I'll probably be back sooner than later

Am i missing something or is there not an option for "Torch" in power menu settings? I've never actually seen it not there in an AOSP rom.

Currently KT is writing his own code to help fix that issue. Basically he will be able to delete the ROMs version and have his own but inside the kernel and controllable instead of worrying about external sources.:good:

Nightlies for this device have been added to the buildbox and will appear at http://www.pacman.basketbuild.com/ when they are built and uploaded. The script is set to run at 1am PST, so the first batch of nightlies should appear tomorrow...stay tuned... :good:

hope this hasn't already been mentioned, couldn't find any info searching this thread or Google. Does this ROM have HDR camera in it? Please let me know, thanks.

This is a known issue across all AOSP 4.2 ROMs for our phone. Hopefully it will get fixed in the near future.
