Okay so how should I flash this ROM and what modem should I flash with it?

Hi Ike. I replied to you over at Calk's v2.9.2 thread. If you're new to this, you may want to try his 2.9.2 Gingerbread rom first. This rom is being beta tested and if you're just starting out, you might want to try his 2.9.2 rom first. It's complete, trouble free and awesome!

Edit: Sorry Calk, but your 2.9.2 should be his first ROM. Once this is totally ready maybe... :)

I'm using 15 right now and it works great. Before that, I got good results with 07.

I'm not saying don't use any cwm recovery, just don't use rom manager to download or install it. Use Odin to flash one from this forum, and then flash this rom. I used cwm from rom manager once, luckily I have a USB jig or I would have had a paperweight.

When you set up Google Voice on this ROM, it initially tries to set up the Sprint/Google Voice integration. The process doesn't really make it clear that this is what you're doing. It just kinda' does it. My thought is that perhaps you inadvertently set up the GVoice integration without intending to. Could this be? You can easily check it by going to the Google Voice settings web page and see if the integration is set up. If so, I think you have 90 days to reverse it.

I hate the way they have that set up on the Google Voice install. If you're focused on just setting up your GV app, you can completely miss the nuance of what you're doing. The voice of experience.

I'm still on version 1 of Caulkalin's ICS but I have considerable lag. Not sure what the problem is but levels of Where's My Water honestly take 15-30 seconds to load. There is also much more 1 to 2 second lag in most other parts of the phone. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Well, I'm not running version 1.
I'm running this current one...E4GT 2 v1.1 with FC07 modem...everything is running great.

If you're having issues...lag...why wouldn't you update to the latest version of this particular ROM??

I have no lag...at all.

I know I have seen this somewhere but I can't find it in the pages of this thread. when I use the gps it works but then when I turn it off there is a gps thing in the status bar and I cannot get it to go away without rebooting the phone. . anyone know a way to fix this gps issue? Also, I am trying to tether a nook tablet that I have rooted and running c m 7. so far foxfi will not work. wireless tether does not seem to work and for some reason there is no wifi tethering that i can find built into the phone

If anyone has any ideas hiw to address these issues it would be great.

I have the same GPS issue. No issues with wifi tethering though. I just assumed it was my phone since GPS was always pretty wonky. Anyone have any ideas? Would flashing the newer modem (FC15) potentially help?

i'm on boostmobile. when i flashed this rom i didn't have internet access. and everytime i do a prl update and profile it times out and nothing happends. any suggestions? i went restored since i did a backup.

Bug Found

not sure if some one have found this before

2011 g37xs with navigation
No audio over Bluetooth. Phone connects with no problem as far as voice call but cant listen to music over Bluetooth

Sorry if double post :eek:

I must(wish I could) know of all this FC18 goodness. In reality, Im itching for an update of 1.1 to something newer.

Right now Im on FC15 Modem, 1.1 w/ FC07 Repack of course. It's nice but I get ANTSY!

Here's a Tweak which is Kernel related I noticed even though the ROM is titz to me already xD

I'm using Call Recorder and the ROM doenst have I think Legacy rights to the Hardware to be able to 2-way Record Kernel Based or use the Standard API.
(This happens on all call recorder programs.. I have used evey single one in the market :p)

Oh BTW Sprint Hotspot iss the fastest Yet... not much needs to change here unless you pull a OMG again like always and make it faster LOL :D

Other than that good stuff bro, can't wait till your next release. Thanks Broski!

Awesome battery life!

Man, I must say that i am getting awesome battery life. 1 day & 7 hours and i just got the 15% battery life remaining warning reminding me to plug it in!

Nice! I wish i could get battery life like that. My battery only last if i DONT use my phone. I think i will reflash to see if that helps. *came from 2.9.2 which was awsome.
