Thank you for echoing what I have been saying for the past six months. From your side of the counter you can totally see the effects of ics, from my end I could not deal with the instability and unreliability of one of the better galaxy s 2's to make it to sprint. I tried the early builds, (mainly Chaulk's ics release)for a short time, mainly on weekends but could not keep as daily drivers, because I needed reliability all of the time. The are those that claim ics is OK and that the gingerbread crowd is nuts , the same folks that don't need reliable phones, to them this phone is just another tech toy to tinker with, and if it works or not, well it looks cool, and if it bricks, well let sprint worry about it, well some of us actually got the Epic because we needed a reliable device to just work all day long (without having to mess with or charge all day long), that's what I have, thanks to gingerbread and Caulk's E4GT v. 3.0 gb build with overstews ics theme. I have said it before, and I will say it again, the Samsung Epic4g Touch is most definitely a Gingerbread Device.
I have a his and her rooted Epics, for a year this month and the only time we had to go to the Sprint store was to pick up an accessory. Oh and we still have the original batteries in both phones,
