Any update coming soon?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
Patience grasshopper. Progress has been made. Nun and I are very busy men as of lately. I work nights and I go to school during the day. I have some new features running on this phone and Nun finally has an S3. Now we just need more time. Should be good. :)
Stratatak I'm having an issue with Bluetooth. On Ford vehicles with Microsoft sync it pairs then when I lock the screen and try to make a call by voice it disconnects I have to power cycle Bluetooth in order to reconnect I believe it is Rom related as the voice commands worked on the Stock Samsung Rom.I'm on 2.8 3/12 release. Everything else is perfect I've noticed a decrease in battery life since you fixed 2.8 however. Any tips?
I'm not sure about your bluetooth issue. I use bluetooth for hours everyday and I don't have an issue with it. I haven't touched any of the bluetooth modules or anything related to that. The only thing I can suggest is trying another kernel. I'm not sure if that's going to help. Quite an odd issue. Is anyone else experiencing bluetooth hiccups? If it's possible can you get me a logcat? Not sure about your battery life. It's been fine for me. A different kernel might also help you with that too.
Thanks man. I mostly browse this thread now. I have never ran into any issue with anything from 1.1+

When I first rooted this phone Intergalactic stuck out when I was browsing. It was tits when I installed it. Then you did a Jelly Bean ROM, I have been very happy since day one. Big fan here man. Keep it up.

Thanks very much for being loyal. I was quite proud of v1.1. The battery life on that version was like no other. Jellybean likes to sip battery a little quicker but I tweaked it up to make it as good as possible.

Plain and simple...if you want a debloated, stock look, that's optimized for a daily driver...then look no further.

I picked up a QCell 4200mah extended battery. After a 11 hour work day idling on LTE...battery is at 90% or so with around 30-45 minutes of screen use.

Battery cost me about 24 bucks with shipping. Best investment I've made. It makes flashing and testing ROMs a lot easier.

I can't say thanks enough. Whenever I get aggravated from a certain ROM, I just restore a 2.8 backup. Lol

Now that you have some veteran support here, I can't imagine what will come out. Especially if you plan on something big for a 3.0 or something. :)

I am stoked.

Intergalactic 2.8, Nova Prime, Widget Locker, Google Wallet, and Morphology...what else can I ask for. :)

Thanks again bro.

Sometimes it can be a multi carrier Rom, ported Rom from another carrier, or flashing from aosp. It happens. Happened to me a couple of times. No real reason why.

As the other posters stated this does seem to happen a lot when you switch from an AOSP ROM to this one. The fix takes about 5-10 mins dependion on how long your nandroid backup takes. Just remember to do the factory reset from inside the working rom and not from the recovery page as that doesnt have any effect.

You'll be pulling down GPS again in no time. :)

Just don't forget that doing that in settings will usually wipe your internal sd ;)

Wish I would have read all this GPS stuff a couple days ago. I decided to switch to a TW ROM after being on SlimBean for months... AOSP 4.2.2 ROM's are suddenly suffering from call freezes mid-call and the like. So I decided to come back to TW. In my endeavour to find a TW ROM I could live with I made the mistake of flashing a multi-carrier ROM - Hyperdrive. Then I switched to Intergalactic and noticed my GPS wasn't working at all. I Odin'd back to stock thinking that would resolve my issue. Two factory resets later on stock I miraculously got it back. Glad to see this information now in case I ever run into a GPS issue again. Needless to say, no more multi-carrier ROMs for me. :D

Not sure if anyone has truly nailed down what causes it. It could have been the switch from aosp, it could have been the multi carrier ROM. Pretty sure it was just switching to an aosp 4.2 rom that killed mine.

Either way, probably a good idea to stay off multi carrier ROMs.

Please note: Photos represent theme work. Please use Wanam Xposed Framework (Included) to theme the ROM to your liking.

    Information:

This is a stock-based ROM that I've made using UCUEMJB firmware for the AT&T Galaxy S3. I've spent a lot of time developing this ROM making it nice and stable and using the tweaks I thought were the best for smoothness, battery life, and stability. This ROM uses a modified, optimized UCUEMJB kernel by me that includes support for init.d scripts and a few extra bells and whistles.

    Features:
    • UCUEMJB Android 4.3 Official Base
    • Modified and optimized UCUEMJB kernel by me
    • Extended power menu
    • Extended APN list
    • Smoothness and battery life tweaks
    • Fully de-odexed
    • Fully zipaligned
    • Bashed
    • Rooted
    • init.d script support and tweaks
    • Real time status bar colors
    • Real time battery bar mod
    • 1% battery mod
    • ADB support
    • Debloating
    • Xposed Framework for custom theming
    • AT&T logo removed
    • Wifi Notification removed
    • Google Now
    • S-Voice
    • Multiwindow
    • Google Keyboard
    • Multi-language support
    • AllianceRom Boot Animation
    • Increased group messaging size
    • Increased MMS size and quality
    • AT&T Contacts removed
    • System sounds from the Nexus 4
    • No increasing ringtone
    • SMS split removed, messages with multiple pages combined
    • Blacklisting
    • MMS slideshow removed so MMS appears threaded and individual
    • Multi SMS lock
    • Call block menu in settings
    • Popup Browser
    • Many other tweaks...

    Installation Instructions:
    1. You MUST have the UCUEMJB or UCUEMJ2 bootloader and the UCUEMJB modem installed before proceeding or this ROM will not work properly. Your data and wifi may be broken if you do not do this first. These are available here: Bootloader and Modem Options
    2. Download ROM to SD card
    3. Reboot into recovery (Must be the latest version)
    4. Do a factory reset
    5. Wipe cache and dalvik cache
    6. Wipe system
    7. Flash Rom (This process may take a minute or two)
    8. Wipe cache and dalvik cache again just to be safe
    9. Tap reboot
    10. In TWRP: Slide the slider to allow TWRP to fix SuperSU permissions (optional)

    Post Installation Instructions:
    • Upon first boot, SystemUI may force close due to modifications. Let the phone settle for a minute and reboot. You should not experience this again.
    • It is HIGHLY suggested that you keep ALL Google Now cards off, verify that you are not updating your location with Google Maps (in Maps settings menu). Remember, Google Now automatically turns on your location settings to update through Google Maps, so after enabling Google Now, unless you want your location on all the time, go to Google Maps and turn it off. Your battery will thank you even more.
    • If you get a Google account sign-in error after installing, there is an easy fix. Go to Menu > Settings > Accounts and Sync. Please REMOVE your current Google account and then add it again. I do not know why this happens to some people, but it doesn't seem to be ROM related. It happens on several devices including the Nexus. Removing and then re-adding your account again fixes this problem

New version 3.0 is up and running. Completely new base. Theming will come later, but most of loserskaters real-time mods have been added so please make sure to head on over to all of his modification threads and thank him as well as enewman17. I have updated tweaks and we are good to go on the new base. Flash away and enjoy! Remember to read the OP as flashing instructions are new. Please make sure you check the MD5 for verification. SystemUI may crash upon first boot. That is normal. Simply reboot the phone and it should not occur again. Thanks for all your patience guys. This has taken me a long time, but I hope it is worth it. :)
