Asylum CM Rom started its life on Samsung Galaxy Note a good while ago. Now it has matured to a CM10.2 Mako edition.
This Rom is small, fast, battery friendly, blacked-out and smooth. This Asylum edition is about 45Mbs lighter than the official CM10.2.
Asylum CM10.2 features:
Light CM10.2 speed and stability
Unnecessary apps are chucked out, thus reducing the Rom size
Settings, keyboard, clock, phone, messaging, contacts, SystemUI and framework blacked out, no official CM grey
Performance tweaks
UI tweaks
Ad blocking hosts
Excellent battery life
Speed and smoothness
Nova as default launcher
CM9-10 theming compatibility
The Rom contains stock CM10.2 kernel
Team Asylum
antiochasylum, Rom creator, a nice guy and a genuine Texan straight shooter
chasmodo, bad tempered, caustic and grouchy n7000, Xperia Z, Nexus 7 2012 and mako Jenkins
Jack The Ripper, our Linux scripting genius, a proper English gentleman with a penchant for getting kicked out of clubs
Sunny2303, well spoken, gentle and generous n7100 Jenkins (and variants), Find5 and Nexus 7 2013

How often will the Rom be updated?
Every couple of days. That way it will always contain the latest CM10.2 features.
How do I flash it?
If flashing for the first time and coming from a Rom other than CM10.2
1. Copy GApps and Asylum CM10.2 Zips to your SDCard
2. Boot into Recovery
3. Wipe data and dalvik cache
4. Flash Asylum CM10.2 zip from SDCard
5. Flash GApps zip from SDCard
6. Reboot
If coming from Asylum or CM10.2:
1. Copy Asylum CM10.2 Zip to your SDCard
2. Boot into Recovery
3. Flash Asylum CM10.2 zip from SDCard
4. Reboot
There's no need to reflash Gapps when flashing from the previous Asylum iteration.
