Well, i must admit i didn't spend much time with previous release

BUT- i now installed your latest release on a Qtek9090/WM5.1 and everything went just fine, battery recognized as it should. Switched to a VPA3 with your 6.5.5 - O.K., just the same.
Could it be my phone had problems with your XDAdroid because i had activated XCPUScalar(Übertakten/SpeedSettings)?
Without it i don't have any battery display problems any more.
Still not working is phone- if i dial a number i get some "force shutdown", though the other phone rings. Confirming incoming call on that phone i can hear something out there, but it's rather nothing than anything; shutting down android call, android returns to main page, but the other phone continues to ring

For something completely different: are you still searching for keyboard-pics?

cm 7.2

Hi,

i put all the files on the sd card and run the haret file.

it start running and then i get this errore:
"kernel panic not syncing VFS unable to mount root Fs on
rebooting in 30 sec"

then it stuck.

what i did wrong?

Try using the startup.txt from the previous release.

one new question cos i didnt saw it in first post. Does the battery metter should work ? cos on my BA android cannot see the battery status, and when it's goin low it's just turning off (average 1 - 1,5 h of working)

Sorry for asking- did you just copy all files to the root of your SD-card, or partition it with linux as told in D-two's how-to?

i just copied them to the sd card....isn't this the new way to install them? first time i did like D-two's how to with linux but then in the second time it was just to copy and put some of them in folder (2577) and other on root - so i don't really know what to do now.....

if you don't know, what the 2577 folder is FORGET this folder it is not necessary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and second, look in the tutorials on the WIKI page on the project site.

Swiss420 has make a video tutorial so look this......

Up till now releases with rootfs.tar.bz2 need to be installed using the two-partition-linux-method.
How? Do as D-Two told you

Please accept my deep appreciation for all those who participated in this... excellent work.
after 3 days of trials to run the sudo tar command. I have done it, through cut and paste... typing did not work...
now I have Android on my BA... yet the phone actually calls the other party I am calling, his phone rings, but mine shows an error and shots down the phone module... and that is it...
did not try the Wifi yet cause I have WPA2-PSK and that did not work on WM..yet the Wifi found the signal... I think once reducing the security of router.. it will connect...
one thing more, the battery is showing ?... same as others stated in their replies
Camera gives an error... also

just managed to do that 15 min's ago.. did not have much time to explore much.. will post my remarks soon..

Reading can be helpful

If you take a look at first thread, you can see camera and gprs aren't fixed yet- so just don't expect them to work...
Concerning the sudo-line: typing of course works, but you really have to take care about capital letters.

numbers mixed

hi
hey d-two to get a page to go left or right with the stylus i have to go up or down
when i press a button with the stylus a different button come lights up
like widgets if i press home screen tips the picture frame comes up
