well if u had bothered reading the thread (or any MiniCM thread for that matter), u will know that nAa has never included 3rd party apps in his ROMs. my reply was a general one, not directed to u specifically, but to anyone asking for 3rd party apps. the answer had been given too many times... NO 3rd PARTY APPS IN MINICM... if u had bothered reading even the last 3 pages u will had known that.

anyway, i've reported your PM for abusive language and unwarranted behaviour tantamount to harassment. i don't believe my reply was offensive or flaming in any way... yours on the other hand, is the exact opposite.

btw... my mouth is shut. i typed all those out :)

Sorry for the OT...
he's not asking to include in nAa's rom,
He's suggesting it for users to install through google play so we can use camera.
What problem?

I think using camera ics from market may solve the problem bcause it works on all devices

It doesn't work, it can't connect with the camera. It's a hardware issue, if the hardware doesn't communicate with the software application, don't even think that it will work with an app.

Actually not hardware, if its hardware then how nAa fix it?
Kernal and all that is software right? Umm, maybe a little bit to do with hardware? :D
I think it should be called software.

I meant that the hardware(the cam recorder) doesn't communicate with the software. If it did, then it would work with a simple app, but it doesn't...right?...

short answer would be yes.... however since cam libs are unavailable and there is no way to come up with our own ICS compatible libs, nAa had to "hack" some system files to make MiniCM9 work with SE's 2.1 cam libs (much like what doixanh did with GB), which i think includes the stock CM camera app...

as for 3rd party, they may or may not... he did mention that it only worked with the stock app but later got the LG app working. however things like barcode scanners will not work...

Thanks for the explanation. I just wanted to answer to Abdullah1997 that the Google Play app certainly doesn't work ;)

The camera app is not made by google with ldpi screen support, i.e. it has no ldpi resources.
This means that some of the components like the on screen snapshot button and the settings buttons don't show up at all. It's a minor bug but we want the camera experience to be as good as possible.

Sorry guys put me into this forum, I was a member of x10mini and I enjoyed the work naa, and even see his works, I argue that the explanation of camera is seen in the x10 mini because the rom is paul LDPI complete, but MDPI, as you can see in the configuration of the density is 120 build.prop
but everything looks a little big.
because it really is for MDPI with density changed to our screens.
Sorry if I'm mistaken, greetings,

It is only a contribution to this great community of members every day.

nAa, im not offending but a battery improvement is really needed. I know its improved in the next update but the battery is going insane sometimes.
Its something inside the system causing battery drain, this "battery drain" is NOT due to usage (drains also while phone sleep/idle).
I have to explain this a little bit cause people may give a lot draining reason...
wifi, BT, data sync, gps offed
no overclock, ondemand governor, X ultra brightness, 2G network, etc
settings optimized like this:
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=19938439#post19938439

Anyone can share just the battery fix?

It will (partitially??) be a problem that's going to be fixed in the kernel more than in the Rom.

Try to use smatrass v2, it solved the problem mainly for me With wifi on constant and 3G sometimes (~2h) my phone can live for 2 days. But I can say that the phone eats the battery in ondemand. The other thing you can do is to change the sceduler with no-frills for example. I use cfq.

    MiniCM9 Visuals

    MiniCM9 Theme:

MiniCM9 theme, is the valid successor for MiniCM6 and MiniCM7 legacy.
It is designed as close as possible to the original specs of ICS, in order to be a lightweight, beautiful alternative to the stock theme. However it is tweaked in several parts of the UI, in order to fit better to x8's device's screen.

    Screenshots:

    Tips to make things faster

    * You want to overclock as much as you device can handle. ICS requires more juice to run.
    * Remove / Freeze system apps that you don't need, especially DSP Manager
    * Install only apps that you need, don't bloat your system
    * Consider using a swap partition / file if you got a fast sdcard. Swap will give more memory for the hungry ICS to consume
    * Using Zram (Compcache) and KSM is also suggested as they will give you a tad more RAM for your apps. Note that they might also reduce battery life since they require CPU cycles.
    * Trebuchet is beautiful but a bit on the laggy side yet. Consider installing another launcher from the market like Apex.

Don't report bugs if you are using thirdparty tools that claim to be boosting the performance (Supercharger, RAM Manager, etc.)
