Thanks for this very useful tool.

As I read in your post#6 (Nexus6 thread) your root method is by patching kernel. Does this mean that every time I flash a ROM or a kernel, I'll have to use the toolkit to re-root my device, again?

Yes, though you'd have to do that anyway with other root methods as well!
