No there's a thread here on xda that has versions for gummyjar and liberty 1.0

What rom are you using? Some have it built in like apex 1.4. You could always mod the services.jar yourself with ninjamorph. Just make sure you do a backup just in case. Here's the files haledroid posted to remove....

Yes, when you go into recovery mount system (it will say unmount when it's mounted, you probably already knew that) and then install from zip card and you should be set.
