I have only one bug to report.

My phone randomly turns itself off when the timer turns off the screen. I had almost everything setup when I started to notice the first time and thought maybe it was a setting I changed or an app causing a memory overload. I hadn't OCed or anything, I don't really mess with things like that too often.

I wiped data/factory reset, cleared cache, cleared init.d, formatted /system, and then reflashed X4.

I skipped WiFi setup, since I've heard some people are having issues with that if it's done from the Setup Wizard, signed into my gmail account, then let the phone run for a few minutes without changing any settings or installing any apps. No problems after about 20 minutes of letting it run and occasionally checking to see if the screen would come on from sleep.

First..and really only strange thing I noticed after that was when I tried to launch Titanium Backup from the app drawer, the request for superuser permission showed up normally and after fighting with autorotate I clicked the accept button. It might be a simple issue of me not doing it fast enough but TiBu's main screen showed that it was unable to obtain root permissions. Wasn't even able to back out of that screen before I got distracted by something, and when I got back to my phone the screen was off, and apparently so was the phone. When I pressed the power button I was welcomed by the AT&T PBL screen.

As far as I can tell so far, the only good thing I've seen from the reboot is that TiBu now has root permissions. I hadn't even gotten to the part where I was going to restore my texts from X3 to see if that's what caused it.

This is something I haven't seen since Froyo/Gingerbread ROMS and I'm not really thrilled to see this issue rearing it's ugly head again with no way to repeat the error. If it happens again should I boot into recovery and get the lastkmsg before proceeding?

That sounds like deepidle or devil idle. Check devil manager's settings as well as nstools. Try flashing a different kernel and see if it still happens.

Re: [ROM][4.2.2]Captivating(Xperia Themed)[X4](Unbelievable performance!)

i want to ask if i use deeple idle or devil idle, how to wake my phone up?

Don't use deepidle, it's not working for most people. Devil idle should be ok but I noticed a little lag with it on.

Re: [ROM][4.2.2]Captivating(Xperia Themed)[X4](Unbelievable performance!)

i always had this problem with devil karnel (i don't know if its my phone only) power button responses late when i press it.. any clue? only fixes when i switch the karnel.

That is odd.....I haven't seen this at all with any of the captivating builds, no matter which kernel I use.....I mean ya, right after the screen goes off after boot it's slow to react, but that's just because it's still loading the os and doing any startup updating.....or if you try to get the lock screen up right after it shuts off, then it takes a second to react.

The only time my phones have done anything close is when I tried deep idle. I turned it back off and have no issues since.

My point is this is not happening to many of us so it might be an app or I guess maybe your phone, but I have 3, all different revisions with the newest one only a rev. 1009.

AW: [ROM][4.2.2]Captivating(Xperia Themed)[X4](Unbelievable performance!)

Sephhi after I had x4 2 days installed you'll get your review now.
Battery: 9/10
Batterylife is excellent, My battery works for a whole day with listening to music for 2 hours, 3D games 1 hour and 2D gamss mazbe another hour
Features and stock apps: 10/10
Nothing to say about that, new laumcher is great
Performance: 7/10
The memory bug is almost solved I think, but the launcher sometimes lags a little bit and it has crashed about 3 times scince I installed it, mainly in the launcher settings. 3D games are sometimes a little bit laggy, especially Gta 3.
Overall: 8.5/10

My settings: Interactive, sio, zram/swap diabled, live oc 2% + with Nstools voltage 1248 MHz

Hope I helped you, sephhi :D

Thanks for your review. Are you using devil or semaphore kernel? I ask only because gta is smooth for me. Maybe try some different oc settings. xp

Birthdays events etc all sync to your calendar. Go to settings>accounts and add an xperia with facebook account.

-Check out the dcikonz pack by Daniel Czarnomorski. Go to to launcher settings>appearance to enable.

Uninstall semaphore manager before flashing. It messes with oc settings. People have been using various workarounds to deal with it. I think I found the best solution for now. I enabled bigmem, tun, lock min to 100mhz, smoothui as scripts. If you want to enable any other option you'd normally use semaphore manager for, request the script. I will post all the options as zip files with the scripts. Nstools is included and now you can use it as the only app for oc'ing without worrying about settings not being restored correctly on boot and clashing with the semaphore manager app.
