GPS is working fine no worries about that. SGS tool crash is normal because the code is not working anymore. The icon is probably missing so i will replace that. If you have problems with GPS itself so no locations or something
Then nackup your apps and do a factory reset

Last night my batterylife was great !
Love the powersavings, but really mis the gps icon..
Can i just add it to the apk file ?

Some things you possible could do in the next version:
- Hack i9000 Camera i9000 (Low Battery + Shutter)
- Mediascanner icon in white + Ginger green
- Fixed Lockscreen Wallpaper (no battery drain & no FCs)
- Choose lockscreen
- Theme Apps to match Gingerbread Style
- Backup batterystats (better battery life)
- Backup vold.fstab (Prevent partition issues)
- Transparent Background for notifications
- Honeycomb Bootanimation!
- Fugutweaks
- Hacked Hosts File (no ads)
- build.prop tweaks
- Fix 2 fingers rotation in Google Maps
- Hacked Browser (8 tabs)
- Multi CSC
- APN List
- PNG's optimized

Does the hacked camera involve flashing the camera firmware ?
Did the whole reflashing again and GPS does work fine on a stock JVK
After flashing 2.2.1 it does NOT work anymore
I even flashed another framework for the missing GPS icon but it does not show up ever......
Please fix this !

I am back in town so i will update gingerreal at the end of this week.
Meantime i also work on my new project called "Blaze".
It will be our own kernel. On the papers it looks reliable but maybe i am not skilled enough so maybe it will never come.
This project means a lot to me because i want to grow in my capabilities.
So i will fully concentrate to it. I will leave the most off support to my well skilled users
