[Q] HTC One X Stuck on Boot screen (Not Rooted!) Please Help.
This is my first post. I've read around on the threads for the 'Stuck at Boot Screen' issue with the HOX.
But so far haven't found a thread that talks about where the phone was not
b) Custom ROM flashed
I just have a stock untouched HOX, which this morning, all of a sudden, just wouldn't boot completely and is stuck on the HTC One Logo.
If anyone can help answer this for me:
1) Is there any way I can recover my phone + the data on it?
If the answer to recovering data is No, then can I be pointed to a thread where there are step by step instructions on getting back to a working phone atleast, even without the data.
NOTE: I do not have experience with flashing/rooting android phones at all. I went through a nice thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1609190
But i'm just not able to understand how I do things like:
On computer type:
fastboot erase cache
So yes, im a complete noob and would really appreciate help on getting my phone back to normal again.
Current condition of phone:
Charging works - Thats about it, cant do anything else with it.
Connected to PC, recognizes the phone, but then it says failed to install driver.
I was reading this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2209423
There was a mention of FASTROOT USB: I can see that option, can someone tell me what do I do post that?
I would basically request anyone to just help me get my data back somehow and get the phone working again.
