How to access G-Gee, Square Enix, etc - Easy 3 Step Method

Search This thread
Was digging around on some sites and came across this website:

http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=38504&start=30

In there someone posted this info:

The games are not apks files...
To play the game you must download a ticket on the Android Market and download the games from the GMO Market. To launch them, you can go to the GMO Market app and login. Then click on "Start Game". So... very hard to hack.

Also they went on to say:

The game is created with the GMO SDK. I don't think Cave will recreate all the game with a standard library. So, I don't know how Cave will release the games outside of Japan...

The good news is that bullet hell specialist Cave has released the popular mobile versions of its shoot'em ups, Dodonpachi Ressurrection and Espgaluda II, which have won lots of praise on the iOS platform, to Android devices. Unfortunately, the bad news is that they're only available for Android 2.1 and newer smartphones in Korea and Japan or now, but the publisher intends to release both games in North America and Europe.

If that last bit is true then there may be a time when some of those G-Gee games will be made available in other countries and hopefully SNKs King of Fighters......

Sorry for all these posts but found some more info and some gude from the same site as my last post that may make it easier for others to find a way to access the G-Gee market.

-From link above this is what was mentioned.

To dowload the games, you need to find the market links :
DDP : https://market.android.com/details?id=c ... ticket_779
EG2 : https://market.android.com/details?id=c ... ticket_793

To buy them, you don't need to spoof another phone. There are two things to do :
- Install the last Market Enabler (Android Market) and choose the "Docomo" operator.
- Create a japanese GMAIL account. YOU MUST CHOOSE JAPAN AS COUNTRY.

Add your new japanese gmail account in the list of your android Google Account (no need to synchronize).
Then, delete all the data from the android market ("Market" application in Settings/Applications/Manage applications/All).
Go the the Android market. Use the MENU Button then click on "Account" and choose the new japanese account.

Now you can buy the two games (500 Yens each).

Now, you can't download them with the GMO ****ing app. You can spoof another hardware. So make a backup of your original system/BUILD.PROP file and modify the following lines :

ro.product.model=SO-01C (and not B)
ro.product.brand=docomo
ro.build.fingerprint=docomo/X10_1233-7397/SonyEricssonSO-01C/es209ra:1.6/R1EA018/1266719038:user/rel-keys

Don't touch the others lines !

Now reboot your phone.

Activate your Wifi connection and launch a game. It will download all the game data

Alao on this site they provide links to a free Japanese VPN account from the same place I have mine, and the steps on how to do it.........

How to setup VPN on rooted phones:

Found this as well, it appears to be a Korean market. On the King of Fighters Android market link I selected the name of the developer below the King of fighters title and it gave me this link, or the list of other apps by that developer and this was one of them...

I going to bed, late for me and I have a headache from all this reading..:D

Small update. Have discovered king of fighters supports all Asian language and English. Also I have a found a ay to remove the virtual gamepads leaving a mice view of the game. Making a short video now and will upload to YouTube.

My God... I'm exploding with anticipation.

I'm about to send G-Gee an e-mail

Subject: King of Fighters Android/Xperia PLAY
Content: Release it. My body is ready.

Another game for you all to play, hopefully. This one surprisingly had an API to go with it. Install the g-gee market and make am account under settings. Save the folder in the zip to the following.

Sdcard/runtine apps/gg/ then paste there. Install the apk and see if it will let you play it. Its a simple first person view with a neat concept on movement.

People try it out and see if it works and then report back.

Yeah, I change the build.prop to SO-01C. Later, put Market enabler to Docomo.
I've installed the 3 G-Gee markets but when I open them, the market lists $undefined items and alert me an error alert in japanese.
:(

Email that link to your phone then open it in your phones email/browser and select the Google Market... dont know why but this usually works....

K, so I reflashed my phone and proceeded to repeat what I did to gain access to the G-Gee Market and Square Enix. It is not really easy to do.

Download this zip with all 3 G-Gee Markets, install each one but the one you want to really use is the GameBox installer.

After they are all installed download the modded build.prop I used (its from my Xperia PLAY, if on another phone just copy the SO-01C to all references of Build, Model, etc)

    Modded Build.prop

Save as a text document, backup your old build.prop (system/build.prop) Then copy the modded build.prop to the same place as your original.

Next you need to download/install Market Enabler and set it to Japan - Docomo, reboot your phone.

    Market Enabler:

    http://db.tt/OWdfOWX6

After the above steps are done and you have rebooted. Open Market Enabler and set it again to DOCOCMO, then copy this link to your gmail and send it to your self.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ggee.gameboxam

Open the email and select the link and select Play Market to open, it should then be able to let you download the G-Gee ticket for the game from the Android Market, it should hten automatically open the GameBox installed and let you download nd install the King of Fighters.

I have done this same process 3 times now and each time it worked.

Found this and wanted to share with y'all

If you loon at the bottom it shows the Devil May Cry and says "coming soon". I will be keeping an eye out for this game...guarantee.

This is the link to all the G-Gee related files, all the KofF downloaded data, Disgaea data, etc. This is the whole shebang.

It is divided into 7 parts. Legion, hope this will be more helpful, it includes all the TB data from the G-Gee plus more

Hmm... I'm noticing a trend here.

Seems G-Gee's bringing out all those games shown off during Sony's Japanese Xperia PLAY launch specials.

EDIT: Looks like that's not all they're doing... snooping a little further in, I saw that they're promoting Disgaea Infinite on the Play Store, and even a special Android King of Fighters game!

Hear that? That's the sound of me getting hard.

In digging through some of the G-Ge apps I found this,

    http://gmo-game.com/

    Notice the King of Fighters

    http://gmo-game.com/app/1313/

(I am going to change my build.prop to SO-01D to see if I can get this KofF apk)

For those interested there are two types of the G-Gee Markets and here they are:

    http://db.tt/taYSFmA7

    http://db.tt/e2I42xnf

    http://db.tt/QLfNKsRT

Between using the market enabler, modding my build.prop to reflecct a r800i instead of r800x and the occasional Japanese VPN account I use (which is free by the way) I have been able to gain access to some of these games from the G-Gee market.

This is the pae for Devil May Cry, its not out yet..

Right now as I type this I am downloading the game Disgaea Infinite. It is really slow download but still .... hope to have the app installed, apk saved and uploaded shortly.

going to try switching my build.prop to korean and see if I can get TLtheory , and everyone else, King of Fighters by SNK. Cross your fingers.

Ummm TLtheory... in the words of Pam on the FX series Archer... Holy ****snacks.... I got the King of Fighters and believe it or not, the xperia play controls works. Again though it requires you to have the G-Gee GameBox installed as it runs the game through that. I have the download link for the Kof F below and I sure hope it works via just having the games files saved to the Runtime App on the root of the SDcard with GameBox installed. So the android market link takes you to the G-Gee Gamebox which then after installing that tkae you to the K of F on the Gamebox app to download/install. The files are a good size.

Please let me know if it works... sure hope it does....

Also, since it was so large I had to break it into 3 seperate zip files. I know its a pain but it was the only way to do it and still be able to upload

    Part 1 of 3:
