CyanogenMod 10.1.2 + wireless display = crash
So I recently purchased a Samsung BD-F7500 and its pretty damn great. I was able to stream video via BubbleUPnP, but wanted to try streaming/mirroring the screen when playing a game or whatever.... So I tried the "wireless display" and it detected the player, connected (both devices reported being connected) and as the TV had the "loading..." bit spun around,...my phone's screen went dark (I thought, ok...makes sense don't need to see it twice), but apparently it just crashed.
Supposedly it's been reported: https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/plugins...ssue/CYAN-1842
but there's gotta be something that can be done. I'm considering trying the newest nightly (also despite showing up: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?typ...y&device=d2tmo
, when I check for them via the system menu I get nothing????), but unsure if that'd change anything.
*edit* I updated the BD-F7500's software from 1003 to 1012 (an update that was prompted after
my attempt) and now instead of crashing the phone, the player appears to end the connection before the loading screen comes up..... Perhaps also worth noting that "MiraCast" was no longer mentioned after said update.
