[Q] Stuck in safe mode due to volume rocker malfunctioning
So I was caught in the rain and afterwards found that my S3 thinks that the volume keys are continuously being held down. The water damage indicator hasn't been tripped, so if I can get my phone back to stock then I think I should be able to get the phone replaced. Problem: to enter safe mode, you hold the volume buttons down. So I'm stuck booting to safe mode (where only system apps work) and can't boot into recovery or download mode. I'm running the latest stable CM10.1. Is there a way I can get back to stock? Maybe a way to disable the volume rocker from safe mode? Or disable safe mode boot? Or install an app that lets me hot boot into recovery as a system app so that safe mode will let me run it? Or a way to get to download mode so I can flash stock through ODIN?
Any suggestions are very much appreciated. Thank you!
EDIT: I think the easiest way would probably be to figure out a way to get to download mode so that I can install stock through ODIN yes?
