I'm unable to get 2G/EDGE on these settings. No matter what ROM I'm on it just isn't an option. When I tick the box in Cell Network settings, as soon as I leave that page it's unticked. Thoughts?

I know I had to hunt forever to find these so I thought I would post them to make it easier for anyone flashing custom firmware. Every time I reflash or do a factory reset it deletes my APN settings and apparently AT&T's technical support doesn't know how to set them up. They actually referred me to Motorola. Anyways, here they are.

You can also use the attached zip along with APN Manager from the market. I don't recall who posted the original zip so thanks anonymous internet savior.

[EDIT: Now attached is a flashable CWM. Haven't tried it yet so I'm not responsible for anything.]

I Gave the Kanged version a shot (AOKP) found here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1580449

And loaded up fine. Boot Animation is a bit Angry/Fruity, but APN's populated and it connected to AT&T/Mobile Network immediately on load of Screen.

Will play with this, still bummed as my goal was CM9, still is. =)

Can u please report back if it was a success?

sent for my atrix rocking Nottachtrix

For Sure. Getting Stuck in Boots, but had this earlier, keep installing update till it goes. About to do attempt 3.

No dice on the APN just yet. I was able to boot, but no APN's listed or usable. Going to keep grinding on it and checking back. Either someone will have a wiser idea than I am hacking at, or I will have luck and can post steps.
