* I am not responsible for any bricks for the phone!!

Requirements:
1) Phone must be rooted
2) Busybox from the market must be installed
Busybox Link: https://market.android.com/details?id=stericson.busybox

Instructions:
1) Download the .apk file and install
2) Install busybox from market
3) Reboot and click a few times the back button to boot into xRecovery

*For those who can't install the xRecovery through the app, you may try to check if there's a xrecovery.tar in /system/bin/
Just delete it if found, so that you can install the correct xRecovery through the app

* I am not responsible for any bricks for the phone

Requirements:

2) Busybox from the market installed

Please comment below to let me know if its working or not
For any problems, please feel free to tell me :D

I have tried to install it with rooted stock 2.1. It says: "Application not installed"
How could it be the xRecovery with 425 kb while Xrecovery.tar file at least 1.6 Mb?

Yes it sure is hard to move 3 files with root explorer
maybe not but i can't get xrecovery to work by moving
3 files to /system/bin (if this works) this installer is welcome
but i will wait before i try it out, I don't want to brick the phone a second time

Hello,

I have E15a rooted with SuperOneClick.
can i use it ? because attachments says E15i installer.

Thanks

I'd still install busybox from the market first, just to be on a safe side. That's what you normally do with xRecovery installation, and this seems to be only an automatisation of this process.

Still, good work, both thumbs up for the author!

It's perfectly working... just done the backup ...

1 question... can i save the backup folder to pc because it take a lot of my 2gb sd card..

    TQ

    Sure!
You can do this by copying the files in "sdcard/xrecovery" to your pc
