What's this that you're speaking of?

Also, I'm just trying to get a kernel that works in complete functionality for the next year or so lol. If ktoonz would make one more siyah update for JB TW I'd be happy  Otherwise I'm gonna be sitting on Stock JB once it's released. I guess that won't be too bad though

Still a rom thing and idk how much that makes it work, if it was as simple as that don't you think the developers would have tried that a year ago?

Well, after asking both KToonsez and Task650, they were as lost as I am.
So, I decided to try for myself.

Without the CMD, the TV didn't get signal at all. With the cmd, shows the 1st image and freezes, until i put a video, stored or streamed, (then It appears flawlessly on the big screen), same with music, so it actually works (partially, but works at last!).

Now there must be a missing cmd that sets the output HDMI resolution, as well as the ability to view the whole UI and not only the media.

Hey folks, I recently updated my phone which i dont do too often, to aokp and the siyah kernel. I rember seeing xxtweak settings in the past, but can't find them now. Is there a download for a flashable zip for these? I want to play around with the GPU settings mainly. Also, I noticed there are some new governor's like 'hyper'. Where can I find info on the new governors and io schedulers?
Thnx for all your help, devas and users combined.

Hi, I just upgraded my i777 to ICS ..so I am basically stock ICS UCLE5 and rooted. I want to flash the Siyah kernal for ICS as I was running Siyah when I was on GB and MIUI. My issue is since I am on stock, I do not have CWM to boot in to recovery etc..so what is the best method to flash this since it is a zip file and not tar for Odin? Also, which version do I go with MIC swap or without MIC swap since again I am stock ICS? Thanks for the response in advance!

Pretty sure you want no mic swap and I think you can extract a tar file from the zip package and flash that with odin

Full credit of course goes to Gokhanmoral. Go thank him for creating this great fully customizable kernel RIGHT NOW!!!:D

This kernel is built from Gokhanmoral's Sources
with some tweeks to make everything run smoothly on our I777's:D

Click "Thanks" if you like what you see or donate with my link.

    Download v4.3.3 - ICS
    WITH mic swap
    http://www.mediafire.com/?cuoltoop7nr3se9

    Install Instructions
    1. Wipe cache

    5. Reboot and enjoy:D

It wont hurt your phone at all if you go with the wrong one and only takes a minute to flash the other.

    Dual-Boot instructions and Notes
If you want to have another ROM as secondary ROM, follow these steps:
1.Make a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
2.wipe everything and install the other ROM
3.Boot the ROM and make customizations. Don’t forget to reflash SiyahKernel if the ROM flashes another kernel.
4.Use CWM Touch Recovery to clone your rom as secondary rom.
    5.Restore nandroid backup
6.To boot from the secondary ROM, either press the HOME key or the VOLUME DOWN key when prompted.

    Some notes about dualbooting:
■If you do not make any cloning you won’t be prompted to boot the second ROM.
■you may need to reflash this kernel after a nandroid restore if your nandroid backup is created with another kernel.
■you won’t be able to use mass storage mode for /sdcard in second rom because we have our data and cache partitions on /sdcard. only external sdcard will be mounted if you are using mass_storage mode. mtp should work fine for sdcard.
■once again, you won’t be able to flash any CWM flashable zip to second ROM.
