Now that NAND ANDROID is a reality for the HD2 I have seen users asking for Android Splash Screens so I thought I would make some and pass them on. I am also supplying the LEO Stock Splash Screen if you want to go back.

Simply follow the instructions:

1. Download the desired Splash Screen and extract the contents to a new folder on your pc.
2. Shut down your phone (doesnt matter if you have already flashed a NAND Android Rom)
3. Enter Bootloader Mode by Holding the 'Volume Down' button while briefly pressing the 'Power' button. Keep holding the 'Volume Down' button until the tri colour screen appears.
4. Plug in your usb cable so that it says 'usb' at the bottom of the screen
5. Run the CustomRuu.exe file and follow the instructions
6. When flashing is complete the phone will reboot

Windows Phone SplashScreens for people who have flashed WP7 can be found in Post2 *HERE*

*If you want to make your own Splash Screen then read Post3 *HERE* for instructions and download the attached file*

NOTE: If members want to post their own custom Splash Screens can they also please attach the .nbh file (zip it up with the customruu) so they can be used by other members who like them :)

WINDOWS PHONE SPLASH SCREENS

Now that NAND WP7 is a reality for the HD2 I thought I would make some Windows Phone Splash Screens to give people the full effect

How to Make your Own Splash Screen For the HTC HD2

[UPDATED 12TH JAN 2011] ADDED WINDOWS BATCH FILE TO AUTOMATE PROCESS

1. Download the attached file and extract the contents to your pc
2. Create your image 480x800 and save as 24bit bmp
3. Copy your bmp to the same folder as MakeNBH.bat
4. Run MakeNBH.bat
5. Follow the onscreen prompts to create your nbh file
6. Flash the nbh file that is created using customruu via bootloader or activesync (winmo only) and job done

You only flash the boot image, i mean the one that has the number of radio and rom at the bottom,
and nothing else, radio and rom remain unchanged.

how do i run it in dos mode do i go in to cmd and then how do i run it
Copy the 2 files you want to use (program and image) to the C Drive, then get your cmd box up and goto the working directory (cd c: cd\), then type in the command line given with the name of your image in the relevant space. Remember uppercase and lowercase parts need to be EXACT.

Thanks MSKIP, been looking for this... however, when attempting this, i'm just sitting at 0% on PC and HD2.

Flashed NAND yesterday. On Gauner's 0.3. with MAGLDR 1.11. HSPL 2.08. Radio 2.12.50.2.2

Any ideas?

EDIT: Currently have custom NRG's splash screen.

Right, for those like me that got this issue. Error 262 and stuck at 0%. The first time i ran HSPL 3 (as i was on an OLD version), i wasn't sure which to choose, 2.08.0000 or 2.08.HSPL, so i chose what was selected, 2.08.0000. Just ran it again and chose the 2.08.HSPL and all working now...

If people who post their Splash Screens can also attach the .nbh file (zip it up with the customruu) then they can be used by other members who like them :)

**I included the archive NBIMG it contains the nbimg utility as well as the images above & the rom flasher all in one folder. To open a command prompt in a directory simply hold shift & right click in it & select 'open command promp here'. Makes it alot easier if everything is in one folder. Enjoy !
