Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is the UC version underclocked out of the box or do you just mean it allows for underclocking where the other doesn't?

What are you all using to under/overclock? Trickster?

UC version has the 120mhz. It allows for that frequency. For me i used the UC version and undervolt it even more. Loving my note. It can handle it. No SOD so far. Make sure you stay with pegasusq gov... i think people are getting sod using other govs.

Trickster

I was getting the BSOD with Beans 18 rom on 29.2 running 200-1920mhz on pegasus, I brought it back up to 800-1920 and still SOD. I will be testing out 30 to see if it plays nice with Beans. What rom are you on?

So then does the NO UC version not allow underclocking at all or just not as low as 120? Again, sorry for the noob question, I'm just trying to figure out the multiple versions choice if neither of them are underclocked right on install.

Why would someone choose the NO UC version?

Some phones cannot handle the low 120mhz. I didnt try the no uc one but I assume it doesnt have the 120mhz. Lowest was 140mhz. Just flash the 120mhz one and set it in trickster and see if your phone can handle it. Just make sure you dont set it on boot before you know its stable. None are uc right after flashing. If you are new just change the min and max frequencies first and dont undervolt anything. GL.

What's funny about it?? I know he has a aosp version I just don't see it anymore so I was wandering if he just combined it to work with both tw an aosp that's all...I like his kernel I've just been using aosp an I would like to use his kernel that's all so if it is then it is an if not well I'm sry for asking.

The very first line of the op says it's for tw only and not for aosp

Mine went through the night underclocked no problem but just locked up after a phone call. Guess I am not fortunate enough to have one that can handle the 120. I am so thankful for the kernel though. Thanks for all of your hard work.

This is the only kernel I use, appreciate your hard work and the constant updates! Battery life is great especially with zero lemon, super smooth no complaints here
