hangs on allinone option
Perhaps this is the place to ask. Have a T-Mobile, Galaxy S3 ver 4.3 updated a few days ago. Tried to root using the option 5 for do everything at once, which says it will rename the pesky standard recovery files so it doesn't keep coming back. It flashes recovery with Odin, reboots, then can't find recovery. When I look at my screen, I see it is the stock samsung recovery. Should I just try option 7 first to rename the recovery files even though option 5 says it is supposed to do it? How do I answer the question where it asks "have you flashed recovery?". Technically I did, but if I have to use option 7, I guess I have to run option 5 as if I have never done it before and reflash recovery? My odin screen on the phone says:
Custom binary download = Yes (1counts)
curent binary: custom
system status: custom
warranty bit: 0
So it sees I have done something. Also, I don't know if Knox is installed. I don't see it anywhere on the Odin screen and the only evidence of it is an icon on my apps page where if I click on it is asks if I want to install it. Thanks.
