Failed to flash.

Sent from the TermiNOTEr 2! ;)

The same was happening to another user. It's something to do with recovery. Which recovery are you on?

They flash fine for me.

Is it failing to flash for anyone else?

remove

assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "t0lte" ||
getprop("ro.build.product") == "t0lte");

from /META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script and the flashing issues will be solved.

Thank you!

Edit: Uploaded build that resolves the flashing issues!

I use to use twrp all the time. Cwm is more reliable. It works closer to the stock recovery. It doesn't have all the features as twrp but much more reliable. Some of my team has had many issues with twrp and had the same problems. I bet this rom will work fine on cwm.

ManelScout4Life helped me get to the bottom of it. It should be fine now. This for your input.

    Ok consider it done. I should've kept the phone. Although it's a rather big thing to try and hide :laugh:

    I normally don't ask for anything, I especially find very annoying people that ask for the thanks button to be pressed. With that out of they way the builds average about 100 downloads, but the op only has 17 thanks. I will never ask for donations, but help me with my ego this once and press thanks!

    Whats the difference between this Paranoid and the one in the "original android development" ?

    Wondering this to, im guessing its the same minus cherrypicks and different compliing?

    I try to make semi-nightly builds, I've been known to release two builds in a day :cool: Check the op for changelog, but besides the stock PA features this build has:

    • Rom and kernel compiled with Google's 4.7 toolchain

    Kernel:

    • Stock cm kernel with ability to overclock and voodoo sound support

    Rom:

    • Stylus Gestures
    • DSP Manager
    • CM Calculator
    • Email Bypasses exchange pin
    • Stylus Pointer changed to tw style one
    • Signal Icon displays LTE instead of 4g

    Notice I'm just detailing what I have added from the PA team and not a comparison between ManelScout4Life's build and mine. Check his thread for his customizations (I heard he added a setting that makes your phone fetch you a beer on command, that's the caliber of dev he is!). I will leave you with three of my deepest thoughts:

    1. If you're on his build and are happy stick with it.
    2. If you're on mine and are happy do the same.
    3. If you're a flashaholic and want to switch from build to build seeing which one completes your life in a more meaningful way, that's ok too (due to changes in the builds you need to do clean installs).

    In short do whatever the hell you want (I mean that in a nice way, mostly). Next time just check the op of each respective build for the differences!
