Did you Crossed Compiling Stage Now ? Can You Build Kitkat for this device ? is it possible ?

lol I don't know if this answer is a little bit late but yeah, so far I've made 3 different kitkat roms for this device

Also found 240x320 twrp themes here that matches the screen fine, only some problems with fonts, I suppose because the themes were made for different twrp version but everything else looks fine. I suppose that there's no problem if I add the link on the first post
Edit:removed the link, because the screen looks well now and the themes are for older versions

Team Win Recovery Project 2.x, or twrp2 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

Updated TWRP for galaxy music to 2.8.7 (17/12/2015)

This is an unofficial port of TWRP for Samsung Galaxy Music. If you want to redistribute it (e.g. a youtube video) give proper credits, post the link to this thread and don't use things like adfly

    Disclaimer
I am not responsible for bricked devices or dead SD cards, your are the one who decided to flash this recovery

    Notes:
-Used 240x240 res to build it tough it seems that in the latest version, it stretches to fit the screen, as a result, will look like 240x320
-Have full SELinux and is based on the latest version, so it can flash kitkat and I lollipop. Not sure about marshmallow

    How to install
You can use different apps to flash .img files like zit-flasher, flashify, rashr,etc... or you can convert it into a flashable tar.md5 odin file

If you need a recovery.fstab file for flashing the recovery, use this

    Installing with ZIT flasher
    -Download and install ZIT flasher
-Download the recovery.fstab and TWRP's recovery.img and place them somewhere in your phone
-Open ZIT flasher, go to the settings tab, select recovery.fstab and then select the third option (select from phone)
-Then search for the downloaded recovery.fstab and select it
-Then go again to the main tab. In the recovery section select browse and select the downloaded recovery.img
    -Finally select flash
-To check if it worked, turn off the device, then turn on while holding volume+ and home buttons.

    Flashing as an image

1 - Download the file and place in in the root of the device's internal memory (sdcard).
    2- Open the terminal emulator.
    3 - Type "su".
4 - Type "dd if=/storage/sdcard0/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6". This depends on where the recovery.img is placed
5 - Wait a few seconds, then restart the device and enter recovery mode and enjoy your TWRP.

    Update from twrp 2.8.5+
Just select flash-->images. Then select recovery and search the recovery.img and flash it. Then reboot recovery to see the updated recovery.

    new twrp

Good news! Managed to build twrp 2.8.5 for our devices. I kinda is now 240x320 and it should be able to flash lollipop so we are a step closer to get android 5.0 :), however there are still many things to do
    3
    Changelog
    17/12/2015
    -Updated to 2.8.7
    -Official changelog here
    18-5-15
    -Updated to 2.8.6
    -Official changelog

    6-3-15
-Use recovery source of the omni 5.0 branch
    -Update to 2.8.5
-More or less 240x320 res and other twrp changes (I don't really know them, search for official changelogs)

    3-1-15
    -Made on omni source
    -Updated to 2.8.1 version

    5-5-14
    -Added SELinux support

    4-5-14
    -Initial release

    Note:
About the second step of installing and the last note, it is better that you provide a working recovery file for your device (it can be cwm or stock) so that I can see the recovery.fstab and then I can tell if it is the same as galaxy music/pocket plus, and if it is differente so that I can make a twrp that matches the mount points of your device

    Being opensourced
Also I want my work to be open sourced.
-Device Tree for building the recovery: https://github.com/Alonso1398/android_device_samsung_ivoryss/tree/omni-5.1
-Kernel Source with SELinux support: https://github.com/Alonso1398/muZic_kernel_ivoryss/tree/cm-11.0

Which recovery is better for galaxy music ?cwm or twrp??

I prefer twrp because it has more options, however, resolution is set as 240x240 so the recovery doesn't use all the screen. You can test both recoveries to figure out which is better, however twrp is the only option for flashing kitkat for our device
