Getting Circles to run on AT&T HTC One Android 4.3
I am trying to get the Circles to work on HTC One (ATT) with Android 4.3 and HTC Sense 5.0. I am running the original ATT build, rooted using SuperSU 1.65. I am using latest ClockWorkMod recovery 126.96.36.199 to install the zip file (RazrUltraCircleM.zip), which installs without errors. The MotLauncher2 itself seems to work perfectly fine, however the Circles widget does not. When the phone boots up, I get an error message, “Unfortunately, the process com.motorola.widget.circlewidget3d has stopped.” And in place of a widget I just see the ring outlines with an hourglass circle rotating. If I remove it from the screen and try to re-add, same thing happens (I've attached the screenshot below)
Can you guys offer a clue why this could be happening? Is there something in Motorola based builds that's not in HTC? Is this supposed to work in general? I am about to try out some other sense-based builds and see if they make difference. Btw the older version of Circles (the 4 apk files - the ones discussed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2228607
) aren't stable on 4.3. Homescreen crashes quite frequently. But they ran without a hitch on 4.1.2!
Anyways, would really appreciate any insight!
