Ok... so here it is... for a phone with 4.3 inch display, well, its gonna be the battery killer. There is no option, but to live with it.
Some small things that could help stretch ur battery life:
1. Turn off auto-rotate. Turn it on only when u need it.
2. Turn off auto-brightness. Set to level that u r comfortable.
I Hear u bro... Just was wondering if there were sometricks that we are not aware of...
I know thats its sad that there arent higher capacity batteries for it either ...
But i love the experience till now so thumbs up to that...
And thumbs up to mike and diablo for being so awesome..

Thank you sir
By the way, if u r using sense, u cud try taking it off. Sense too eats into battery.
Yes gonna do that once i reach home

Hello there... does anyone know if this wpa_supplicant (below) works well with GB 2.3.3 under Mike's Android Revolution ROM?
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1058319 (post #2)
@mike1986... no idea? Is just that I really miss the ad-hoc support... just asking if you have seen that post by any chance...
Thank you! Great ROM... still on 5.1.7... (so rock steady that I don't even want to upgrade... yet...)
AD-HOC... ad-hoc... yes ad-hoc!
Okay... here is some information, regarding my previous post.
I decided to test the wpa_supplicant file myself under Mike's Revolution Rom V.5.1.7 (GB 2.3.3 of course) and I can now confirm that the file actually works and now I have fully functional ad-hoc support. (under WEP or no encryption). I was able to connect to my Windows 7 ad-hoc network with no issues. I even decided to download a huge file 300mb+ (downloaded XP Service Pack 3 from microsoft's site while using ad-hoc) (see attached pics); just to see if there were any stability issues... and there are no issues at all. Then I connected to the regular infrastructure router (linksys in my case) and again, no issues to report. As a final test I went ahead and tested the Wifi HotSpot feature from my HTC Inspire 4G with Revolution Rom 5.1.7 and no issues at all... in fact, right now I am connected to my phone and posting this message here @ XDA thru the phone's wifi... no issues! so... can this be integrated in future versions of the ROM? or am I missing something and this file is breaking something else that I'm not aware of?
HOW? If you are going to do this...
1. Unzip the file attached here (wpa_supplicant.zip) and send wpa_supplicant to your phone.
2. Using Root Explorer go to the folder were you save it (wpa_supplicant) and copy the file.
3. Using Root Explorer, enter the /system folder and press the Mount W/R button (upper right corner)
4. Now go to /system/bin and backup your current wpa_supplicant, and paste the new one.
5. Set permissions to wpa_supplicant like attached picture, then go back to /system and press Mount R/O (upper right corner, so you leave everything exactly like it was) and reboot. Done. Enjoy AD-HOC!
EDIT>>> More than 3 hours later... no issues at all... wifi rock steady, wpa_supplicant DOES WORK.
@TEKHD can you tell me if this ad-hoc support doesn't break media streaming?
You think you're addicted from flashing ROMs, checking forum the whole day and you feel like "Android" should be your second name? Well, here's something for fun

Q 1: After flashing Android Revolution HD my battery drains much faster. What can I do?
A: Please charge your battery to 100%, boot your device in ClockworkMod Recovery and go to Advanced ---> Wipe Battery Stats. Also see Question 7.
Also please read this ---> [GUIDE] Enlarge your battery life : an attempt to fix the battery drain
And this ---> [How to] Brilliant Battery Life 100% working!
For more details about wiping battery stats please read this
Q 3: When recording HD video, the playback of the clip keeps freezing. How to fix it?
A: This is probably SD card problem. Format your SD card (FAT32 recommended) to gain silky smooth playback.
Q 5: Is there any alternative for SetCPU? I think it slows downy my phone.
A: You can application called No-frills. Remember to check "Allow on boot" option.
Q 7: My CPU load is all the time nearly 100% and in most part it's used by system. What is the reason of that high CPU usage and how can I fix it?
A: Delete your htcsense.com account. It takes A LOT of your battery and CPU usage.
Q 9: I have some strange issues with my ROM that nobody reported before. What should I do in first place?
A: In first place you should check, if the MD5 Checksum is correct. Then flash ROM again and see if the issue is gone. A lot of strange issues can be solved this way.
Q 11: I can't send/receive MMS or I can't connect with mobile data connection. How can I fix it?
A: Please check your MMS settings or mobile data connection APN settings.
Q 13: When I listen to music from HTC stock player it accidentally pauses for short time and then keep playing.
A: Turn OFF fastboot in settings.
Q 15: My clock/weather widget doesn't show my location. How can I fix it?
A: Please clear data from Google Maps, Clock Widget, Weather, HTC weather sync provider and Weather Provider.
Q 17: I have com.htc.bgc process force close few times a day. How can I fix it?
A: It's because you have removed HtcTwitter.apk (HTC Twitter application). Please restore it.
Q 19: When I open up the call screen (where I see the recent calls and callers), the calls won't appear in the list. What to do?
A: Probably you are using 3rd party launcher. Remove the dialer shortcut and re-add it.
Q 21: Why my "4G" icon is gone from the status bar?
A: My ROMs are based on WWE HTC ROMs. It means that there is no "4G" icon but you have HSPA+ connection with "H" icon anyway.
