The Beta 2 update was available on the Fresh Updater installed with Beta 1. Maybe its no longer there, but if you haven't tried that, give it a try. I got the email also, but it should be in the updater.

Check your email. Flipz sent out an email regarding this this morning.
A >lot< of people are - if your referring to the latest flash update from the market yesterday. It's comments are riddled with warnings for Evo owners to not update to it. Would recommend downgrading any way you can to the prior 10.2 release and all will be well once more.
Check this thread. I believe they still work, I used them previously when I was running 3.5.0.1 for a bit.
Anyone still on this rom?

Im still on it. I tried the new version but i like to have my battery last more than half a day. Brightness issue was a deal breaker. But ill be doing fresh gb edition once theres a official release ( hopefully on the 6th )
I happily stand corrected!
In the meantime though, I started fooling around with decks rom. What started out as a fling may have turned into something more, not sure I can go back to fresh at this point...
I am still on 3.5.0.1 . I am either going to wait for a stable bug free gingerbread or for the evo 3d to come out before I mess with any other roms.
I have sucessfully updated my phone to 3.5.0.1 but i'm having a hard time updating my moms phone to 3.5.0.1. When I try to flash it manually this is what it says:
Finding update package..
Opening update package..
E: Can't open /sdcard.fresh-evo-3.5.0.1.zip
(bad)
Installation aborted.
I have tried to re-download the file and i am running the latest version of clockwork recovery.
Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks.

I just came back to 3.5.0.1 per my signature. I had too many issues with Fresh Rom 4.1.1.0.
Number one, it was laggy and choppy.
Number two, I could NOT clear my voice mail count. It always showed I had two messages waiting on my taskbar, even though from within the voice mail app, it said I had none.
The ONLY issue I have with 3.5.0.1 that I REALLY want to see if there is a fix for is that I run RA Amon 2.3 and Nandroid backups do NOT work at all.
For example... Lets say I do a Nandroid backup of Fresh Rom 3.5.0.1 from within RA 2.3 then I flash say a CM nightly or Koni's, or any ROM for that matter. Then after testing I flash back to my Fresh 3.5.0.1 Nandroid backup, it fails. It just boot loops at the Fresh EVO boot animation screen.
The previous official Fresh Rom (non-beta) before 3.5.0.1 worked flawlessly so it seems to be an issue with Fresh Rom 3.5.0.1, at least for me.
For the sake of testing it does appear to work with Clockwork though, just not with RA!

Not to bump an old thread, but does anyone have a copy of the 3.5 ROM? I'd like to go back to 2.2 for various reasons and the links to it on Flipz' site don't work. If you have a copy let me know. Thanks.

Changes from Fresh Evo 3.3.0.1 to 3.4.0.1:
- Based on a new Sprint OTA (3.30.651.2)
- New kernel by HTC (g0f673ed)
- Modified slightly to allow apps2sd and remount to work
- Has fps unlocked by default, straight from HTC's source!
- Upped MMS size limit to 5mb (thanks to calkulin)

4Circle Battery Mod - UOT Kitchen
For those looking for variations of the Circle battery mod do the following:
Note: Only creating Circle Battery and no other changes.
Extract the Fresh 3.5.0.1 zip file and pull out the framework-res.apk and set aside. (inside system/framework)
Go to the UOT Kitchen
Choose the version you want (I use SCB with %, Version [A-K]) and hit next
Choose the specific version you want and hit next
Choose Do not include icons and hit next
Choose Do not change notification status bar and hit next
Choose Do not include bootanimation and hit next
Choose Do not include windows animation and hit next
Click Choose File and browse to where you placed the framework-res.apk from above and hit next.
The file will be built and you can then download it and flash.33For those with the market FC please test this and let me know if it resolves it.
