Fix for no clear bass and surround

Extract the zip you downloaded from here and go inside system/vender/etc/ there is a file called audio_config copy it to ur sdcard and use root explorer to place it in the same location (there wont be etc folder inside vender so create it). Then change the permissions and reboot. Due to some reason when flashing the zip that file doesnt get copied.

This is wrong,don't mislead people.No wonder no ones having clearbass

after installing the pack if you cannot find clearbass then extract Audio_effects.conf in system\vendor\etc\ in zip to memory card and then move it to system\vendor\etc.Edit permissions in conf file.If there is no etc folder then make one.This is what should be done.Now clear data in soundenhancements and reboot

I have done many thing but failed only your tips worked
BTW, Now is there anyway to boost volume?
Walkman Player sound volume is not so loud :( nearly half as
Original Music player of NE0 :'(
Any tweak to boost up sound?

Hey Bro I tried several times, Walkman player works with Normal Equalizer. Bt if i select MORE player goes back.

I have 100MB free on system, 50MB on vendor

BTW nice work :)

ok i have easy solution for those who cannot change permission to vendor

i downloaded AntTek Explorer

this xplorer enable rw to vendor partition

to do this, enable superuser when it pops up to the AntTek App
then click the yellow circle flashing icon on the upper right corner
then choose root on the pop up
then go to system, then try to find vendor folder, press and hold it
choose remount partition on the new pop up, choose RW
then its now RW

vendor partition have a lot of junk apps, if you can remove some of it by using another xplorer (such as SuperManager)
a lot of space will be free'd. you can put some of your apps there to that system will not be easily full.
the right permission for the apps on the vendor/app partition is:
O O -
O - -
O - -

take note that if you turn off your phone, the vendor partition will automatically set again to R/O

Thanks for the great app. Finally got everything working on JJ Hybrid 3.1 :cowboy:

For anybody that is having FC problems with "sound enhancements" and "edit music info" parts of the package on JJ's Rom. Those parts of the Walkman package requires the sony ericsson framework files (com.sonyericsson.uxpres.jar is referenced in the AndroidManifest.xml) and since JJ's Rom does not have those files by default, they crash.

For the past couple of days, I tried to replace that references in those two apps with android default ones using apktool but unfortunatelly I couldn't get it to recompile.

I got everything working by flashing the "SONY XPERIA KEYBOARD INTERNATIONAL" add-on, which installs the required framework files alongside the keyboard files (I was already looking for a keyboard app with Turkish Dictionary, so it was two birds with one stone kind of a deal for me :p).

So in theory, if we take out the keyboard files and just flash the framework ones from the "SONY XPERIA KEYBOARD INTERNATIONAL" add-on, we should be able to have full Walkman experience on JJ Rom without any problems. I am not sure which ones are only keyboard related, so I can't help with that, but just giving people a heads up. :eek:

    (For aosp roms install non xperia stock fw addon.zip via cwm after installing the main zip,get it from update 6 mediafire folder)
