Appreciate the effort, if you are, and other are working on htc versions of the android for diamons/hd/hd2's etc, but I've tried a few versions of the android on my htc diamond 150.
compared to the stock winmo rom, android port to htc diamond is:
still WAYtoo slow
REALLY Power hungry - need to work out better power management
Not Working:
* Camera/videorecord
* GPS
until these are working ( mainly the power suckage), I've just gone back to winmo, and crickey it's good to have a fast rom
you don't know you miss the speed when you're on andoid. And Battery life yah! a whole day without a recharge.
On xdandroid If I am browsing with wifi usually get <1hr full charge to flat, winmo, I can go for 4-5hrs with wifi enabled and still have some charge left.

i think the system if flash into rom is faster then install in the flash memory
but * Camera/videorecord
* GPS is really important
but i dont know y the g1 is use the same cpu and chip
i think the driver is same
y cant let the gps work
