idk if itll be this easy but for camera someone try camera.msm8960.so libcamera* libmmcamera* mm-qcamera* v4l20qcamera-app awb_camera lsc_camera libbeautychat.so liboemcamera.so probably not the best to use so many prop files...but that might work

You have to figure out what's causing it to not work then attempt to fix it.

May need to add vendor and product ids to the init.dlx.usb.rc so that the driver will recognize it.
Looks like that code starts at line 120 of that file? The vendor id for HTC is 0bb4 but I couldnt find the DNA with a quick google search. Ill try to look into it tomorrow.

Down on Line 251 and 252. They have them commented out for mtp and right below for usb also
EDIT: On the stock it's on those lines. looks easy to pull over. Testing now

Yeah but there are no vendor ids present there? Wouldnt it not show up if there are incorrect ids?

Any luck? Hopefully I'll be able to work on some stuff tonight.
I can post the vendor I'd when I get off of work. But it's easy to acquire. Anyone running linux can enter "lsusb" via a terminal window.. the one labeled HTC is the info you're looking for. Going off of memory the first number is the manufacturer id the second is the device id...

Nope. Flashed over to a sense Rom and still couldn't get MTP to work. Could just be on my end until someone else tries.

Try using these ids 0dff/0ebd they were pulled from a dna using mtp on linux. vendor id looks good.
If you can, push your changes to a new branch and ill give it a shot later.

For those who would like to work on it. I would recommend using a combination of the current HTC devices that have cm10.1 and the nexus 4 as a guide.

Please do not flood this thread with "I get a crash when I take a picture with the FFC," or "it works with this other app."
I'm aware of these things.
