Thank you, I had attempted it on the new build and thought it was stuck morphing at ten percent, so I got out of it... did it take you a while for it to work?

Email Not Working ....?says synced .. tap on email icon ......blinks goes back to screen.., never encountered this before...i get gmail just not my comcast mail tried 3 times

Did you dirty flash the ROM? Since this is a rebase from 4.1.1 -> 4.1.2 the package names changed. Make a nandroid, then clean flash the ROM and see if email FCs persist. If so, I'll need you to logcat it for me because my exchange is synced up just fine on a clean 420 flash, so I can't replicate.

First off, this looks excellent...
I dirty flashed over a 4.1.2 image that Charlieb had been working on based on vzw 4.1.2 code... I still may have to do a factory reset to make things 100% happy as I'm having periodic gapps fc's... I'll do that right after my backup finishes....
Wifi on the stock kernel seems to be borked. It would connect, but I couldn't transfer any data. (works fine with the "Faux" kernel)
Perhaps I should do a clean install and restore apps via titanium backup and see where things go from here... (I don't restore system apps or data when I do that so it should be fine).

No sir, it worked just fine from the jump. Make sure you run the prep package first and then run the morphology package after that. Make sure you say that you either want to back up or not back up, before moving on to the customizing portion. I must say, I haven't tried to choose everything to customize; I just chose the predefined options and they installed just fine. Once, I chose not to back up and it didn't install my chosen option. Then I tried to hit the back key and it wouldn't move. I had to pull the battery and manually go into recovery. The problem with the predefined options is that I had to do it on my phone (can't access the links from work lol) and I didn't see an option to see what they look like, so I spend some time trying to get a color scheme that I like. Hope this helps.

I never dirty flash but thankyou for replying after searching the at&t thread and the Verizon thread its become clear to me that this is definitely a new known issue hopefully it will get worked out , thanks team synergy for the update hopefully the stock email issue and ziggys kernel will be worked out in future updates , also I have have seen others post logcats of the stock email issue hopefully the issue is resolved quickly as this is an awesome ROM.....thanks again........

After more tweaking I finally got ziggy kernel to work without getting any fc's on the phone app. I did the same method as before. I edited the zip file using winrar without having to extract it & I copied over the ziggy file that's in d2vzw and put it inside the d2tmo folder that's inside the carriers folder. I also deleted the stock folder inside the d2tmo folder and there's another folder inside d2tmo labled app_pack. Inside the app_pack folder I deleted the folder named "app". I then flashed it and so far so good. Wifi is working. The phone app isn't crashing. Contacts seems to be working. Blutetooth works. GPS is working also. So far everything seems to be working fine. I've downloaded stuff using wifi, made a few phone calls, sent a few texts, and used gps with no issues. So if you guys wanna try out the ziggy kernel with working wifi you'll have to edit the zip file. All the files I edited are in the folder named "carriers" which is inside the "synergysetup" folder. Once again I copied the ziggy folder from d2vzw and pasted it in the d2tmo folder. I deleted the "stock" folder inside d2tmo and I deleted the "app" folder inside the "app_pack" folder. Those are the only files I edited and it seems to be working fine. No fc's on anything & wifi works :good:
Try this at your own risk. I'm not responsible for anything. Make a backup before you try anything! I'm not sure if you have to delete the stock folder or not because I haven't tested it. Did you choose the stock kernal ..? if not do so because there is still a problem with ziggys, for the data issue reboot phone , Data should appear if not try to rebot again , i did not have any problems in that regard ........hope this helps....
Also did you check the global APN in the aroma installer if not I would reccomend doing so .......

This Rom is nice only bug I can find is the voice mail bug and I can't find out how to check my vm. Forgot my pin years ago but never needed it.

Pin or the number to dial? Read the thread as the only viable solution is to set it to speed dial #2 (or your own preference). I believe everyone on TMO uses 805MESSAGE (substitute for actual numbers of course) to retrieve voice mails.

Ill prob do a clean install of this update tm. Gonna see how this works. I will not be using Ziggy, not till its fully working out of the box vs jury rigs. So Ill stick with Ktoons since Ive been using it.
I am wondering if the + thing is fixed now tho.. or the voicemail issue.
Also waiting on that 4G icon to be installable via the flash heh. I looked at Morph, doesnt seem to be as simple as it could be?
Anyways once I get this going, we shall see if its better or not. =)

Pretty significant changelog in this release, so hopefully things are pretty stable for you guys. First, the thanks. Yea I know it's like getting a present with a card attached and nobody wants to read the card so you just pretend to skim over it before you get to the good stuff, but a lot of people really spent a lot of time on this update making it run better than ever before and they deserve props. As you know TrevE finally got his hands on a device and has been going on a tear adding new toys and cleaning up TONS of issues on the back end. He's always been a great asset to team Synergy; we're lucky to have him around. Same goes for Ziggy. He spent two weeks flashing a hundred times a day (no exaggeration) to get his S3 kernel running better than anything I have ever run in the past. You guys should see insane battery life on this release. Also check your deep sleep times and be amazed with his work. There were so many others who pitched in this ROM (Didact74 again) as well as a ton of you for testing. I wish I could name you all personally, but you know who you are. Thanks for helping us work out the bugs with this release.
For starters, Samsung and the carriers have all sorts of checks on the back end to see if you're rooted, running a custom ROM, or have made any modifications to /system. Often times Android devs (us included at times) will do a mod and as soon as it works, they run with it. But there are numerous instances in which stuff is broken behind the scenes and you don't even know it. This build includes some serious patches on the back end which make things run properly and phone home correctly without raising red flags to Samsung or your carrier. TrevE has a post here with more info (http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=38444474&postcount=17932). Point is: You can trust Synergy to be clean, secure, and free of any behind-the-scenes nonsense.
Now to answer the questions I know you're already gonna ask: Ink effect is now sorta fixed (all colors work, including the 'none' option, but the color flash still happens. We took a long look at this one and it's still evading us at the moment. The math they use in the ink effect is weird...
Glance view: We have (and actually have had for the last several builds now) the framework working to support this. In fact we were able to kick it off with adb commands at our will, but hovering your hand over the sensor didn't quite work and it's actually gonna be a nasty hack to get fully working. We're still looking at it, but no promises on when or if we fully get it working.
Also, The reason we asked about your CPU revisions earlier in the thread is because some of you guys are running different revs and they handle voltages differently. Bad news for you guys on rev 4: You can't adjust your voltages. Samsung hard-coded them right into the CPU. You can try to change them all you want, but they aren't going to stick. You're probably stuck with stock. We've added scripting to AROMA which will tell you your CPU revision you have and if you can't adjust voltages, we'll tell you right there in AROMA so pay attention.
Open Pdroid has also been merged into our already existing PDroid capabilities. This is great news for those following the Open PDroid story. Head over here to give those guys thanks: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=36678558 You should also be advised that we've changed the way that we install /data apps. They won't start pouring into your app drawer until about 30 seconds after first boot. This is the proper way to do it and will help a lot of you guys out that are seeing problems from dirty flashes. The AOSP lockscreen has also been fixed. In fact, we've forced it so that only the AOSP option OR the ripple effect can be checked at a time - not both. If you want to use one, you gotta go uncheck the other. Ripple is forced by default.
Finally, our AROMA is also significantly improved. Too many changes to list them all out but the biggest things are a new toolbox which you can use to change ROM and kernel settings without having to reflash the entire ROM (w00t) and if you choose the Ziggy kernel on flash you will get a new screen in which you can change frequencies and voltages.

Q: How do I install this ROM?
A: Download the ROM from the "Download Links" section above, place the file on your phone's external SD card, and then flash via your recovery. First boot after flash takes a wee bit longer than usual.
Q: How can I enable mass storage mode?
A:
Code:To enable mass storage mode: 1) Plug your phone into the computer via USB and MTP will likely open as it usually does 2) Open a command prompt 3) Type: adb shell mountsd
At this point the phone's external sd card will open up in mass storage mode (so you can use it just like a usb drive). Be advised that mass storage and MTP cannot mount the SD card at the same time so MTP will show the SD card with folders empty and something like -1330850028 bytes of storage - don't panic, this is normal since, again, it can only be mounted one place at a time.
Code:To get back to MTP: 1) While still plugged in via USB 2) Open a command prompt 3) Type: adb shell unmountsd
Q: Why can't I "adb remount"?
A: This is a symptom of the locked down kernel. We've created a workaround for now.

Team Synergy has always been providing their users with mods found nowhere else. Longtime Synergy users will remember when we first caught and blocked CarrierIQ or when we created the Godmode EXT2 wrapper. Synergy was the first S3 ROM to fully block all Samsung root loggers, the first to bring PDroid to Touchwiz 4.1.1, and the first to bring multiwindow to US S3 users.
Well today we at Team Synergy are pleased to announce what we feel is one of the most exciting new features available today in the Android universe: Full floating multitasking windows:
Team member TrevE has been a madman these last few days finishing this up for us and we couldn't be happier with the result. With this new multiwindow function, you can have multiple apps open in their own independent, resizable windows that can even be minimized/maximized, pinned to the foreground, and even closed right from their taskbars. It's almost like running Windows 7, OSX, or Linux right on your phone!
While the S3 is only limited by screen real estate, this functionality could open doors to similar functionality in tablets. Imagine the possibilities... TrevE has all the details in his post over in our Verizon thread (click here) and reading his entire post is required.
Kangers be advised: This effort took us a lot of work and time. The new mod required us to stitch together 4 different frameworks across several platforms, as well as writing our own original code from scratch. This is not how things are supposed to work for multiwindow; this is our own unique spin on its functionality. We had to write the resize method ourselves. The minimize code was specially done by us. The mod itself is heavily ID-based so you will need a lot of our framework if you intend on using this feature. Not to mention the fact that we have our own Synergy toolkit which memory optimizes all framework and apks files with our own signature. If you take our files, we will know. As such, we would ask you guys to seek our permission when using this feature, as well as give appropriate credit in accordance with XDA rules. Anyone using our framework needs to explicitly mention that their multiwindow ROM is based on the 'Synergy Multiwindow Framework' since it is not found anywhere else in the universe.
Alright, enough about multiwindow. We're psyched about it, but this build includes lots of other fixes as well. Changelog below.
Also, lots of people aren't seeing the timezone bug, but perhaps a few still are (where the phone thinks you're one hour ahead). We're trying to pin this down but it's been difficult to replicate so if you see this issue, be sure to set your time to manual rather than network defined until we get a chance to look into it further.
Finally, I would like to offer a special thanks to you GSM guys. At the end of the day, this is a Verizon-based build that we wanted to get into your hands too because of all the cool, new features. But since most of the activity happens over in the VZW thread, you guys have had to offer support to each other and troubleshoot a lot of your own bugs. I just want to say a humble thanks for your efforts; I've been very impressed with all of you. Keep it up!
