If you get a Mac Book Air, expect crappy Windows drivers and poor battery life when/if you need to use Windows.
Get a MacBook Air, IF you plan on developing iOS apps or if you prefer OS X.
Get a Windows 8 machine otherwise. As to which ultrabook, I would go with either the Sony Vaio Pro or Sony Vaio Duo 13 if you plan on using OneNote as a digital notebook. Both machines have Haswell, and both are incredibly light and can be specced out i7/8G Ram/256-512GBSSD ... which is something you'll find important if you plan on carrying your computer to class all the time for the next 4 years.
SonyEricsson T68i / SonyEricsson T616 / HTC Tornado/ HTC Touch Cruise / HTC Touch Diamond 2 / Apple iPhone 3G / LG KS20 / SonyEricsson Xperia X1a/ LG Optimus 7 (e900h)/ Sony Xperia SL...like my old WinMo devices, it gets buggier with every update
