[Q] Excessive memory usage

Hi Guys,

Lately I have been noticing lag on my stock ATT Galaxy S3, now running on Straight Talk.
I checked the memory usage and it is always >1400M/1549M, I am not sure if this is the reason for lag.
But I did monitor the usage for some days and the same result.

I am not even using the apps which run in the background, If I kill all the apps, they come back again.
Is there are a way I could control which apps should run in the background or this zombie resurrection an android feature.

Un install them if you don't use them. Use a better task manager to see which apps are using the most memory and try to work your way down.
