[Q] inline otg battery?
I had an idea for a hardware hack.
Seeing as there are a lot of devices that you cannot use a usb otg cable alone to connect a flash drive (hp touchpad being one of them)..
My idea is a cable/battery hack. using a micro-usb-usbA cable and a portable usb charger i am curious if there is a way to splice the battery in-line with the cable.
Such as micro-usb to USB-A modifying the battery charger to put another usb Male end on the other side so that you can just plug your flash drive into the one end and the male end into the otg cable.. kind of eliminating the entire y-cable/second cable spaghetti situation.
i'm just brainstorming a few ideas to kind of simplify the carry-on mess of cables some of us handle.
Is this a valid idea? or am i asking for nightmares with the wiring/backfeeding power/etc???
