Shouldn't be a problem. I've done this on my Nexus.
Root Explorer and delete the apk's from the system/app folder.
I removed all of the tmo crap except the wifi calling app and haven't had any problems.

I have a Macbook. I went to the thread and it said something about installing Mono? I don't know what that is or how it works. Has anybody else used it and care to explain the steps that need to be taken?

With the oneclickroot can you unroot just as easy, say you need to return it to stock and send it back, hope to have my phone by friday.
how did you remove them? I deleted the apk from sys/apk, but apps still how
when the Gingerbread is releases will the rooted phone still be able to get the update for that. thanks im a newbie
