Samuel and the team rawk!!!..... I have been using this ROM now for a few days and I love it more and more each day. I will post some of my findings that are documented on my work pc tomorrow. These will be simple usage type findings and may help you all to find and correct possible issues.....Thanks again to a great team charging ahead!

About 3.0?
So if im coming from a completely different rom and want to install 3.0 can I do that or do I have to install 2.x and flash up to version 3.0? And If I can flash just 3.0 what all do I need to clear/wipe in recovery and do I need to install the patches from the 2.x versions?

The 3 should be a full if I'm not mistaking? But just run the HS EXT4 patch then 3

ok so set straight we go thru and wipe data as if we were installing a new rom.
then do we go back thru and install the 2.0 2.1 2.2 then 3.0 then inspire patch
what are the steps there is no tutorial and i as many other new people dont wan to mess up this excellent work. I see people say flash the patch also what does that mean.

Boot into recovery, manually wipe cache, data, and system
flash ext4 data wipe
flash 3.0
*optional* flash RIL to match your current radio
now reboot and setup phone without logging into any of your accounts or wifi, then reboot, THEN set up your wifi/accounts.
Swype is included in the 3.0 flash, and if you restored it, or its data, or flashed the old swype.zip then you reverted it back.
wont boot into recovery?
I wiped everything and flashed the ext 4 patch first then 3.0 and when it loads and i reboot normally its ok. When i try and boot into recovery or bootloader using the power button menu options it just starts back up at the lockscreen?

I noticed that too and even if I select the phone shutdown it also just hot restarts as well.

Just place the PD98IMG.zip in root of sd, "/sdcard/PD98IMG.zip" and reboot into bootloader, follow prompt and voila, new splash screen.
