Have you tried restoring a known good copy of the EFS? Reflash modem?

Yes, i flashed back a clean backup without success...i just kdz to stock 4.1 without success...and now i'm on official cm10.2 nightly...without any network signal...that's kinda weird :S
I just reflash the new telus jb modem, but still dont have signal...
I think it's not the phone itself because it detects the sim card but the network is missing...

But if my efs backup are "infected", what can i do to have carrier network again? My IMEI number is the same like on the back of the phone...Does kdz back to clean stock firmware restore a new efs partition?

I think efs information stays with phone and restoring to stock wouldn't change anything.

Sounds like an efs problem to me. Do you have an earlier back up to try? Maybe the one free gee made?

Since there doesn't seem to be a thread for official 10.2 and it seems to be based off of Chad's ROM I'll ask here: Why aren't you prompted for your google account information after a clean flash with the new nightlies? Is it just that I'm not using official gapps or is everyone else seeing the same thing?

Blame cyanogenmod inc. It's their new way of doing things. I believe it will change soon tho.

I've been away for a few days so it's time for me to be "that guy". My bad. I also can't seem to find the discussion thread or I'd post there... Oh well...

1) So I see the official 10.2 nightlies are available (woohoo!), what is the difference between those and Chad's version?
2) Is smoocha still only compatible with Chad's 10.2? Think I read that a few pages ago.
3) Has anyone had MHL working in 10.2? I don't get to use it often but last time I tried it did not work. It could be my cable as the phone did not charge when it was plugged in.

Addendum: My wifi wasn't working on 0922 either, so I flashed JB modem and all seems good.

1) It's the samething beside mine might be newer.
2)smoocha is compatible with official cm.
3)Not tested, but i believe stock use slimport and not mhl.

So, here's my problem now...

I just reinstall stock jb firmware on my phone, I can see the IMEI in the setting but I don't have any signal from my carrier...

I have an EFS backup but I think it's broken...Anyone can open it and verify if it's true? I can send those 3 files...

I used an MHL cable in 10.1 a number of times. It hasn't worked yet in 10.2 but I don't get to use it often.

How do I remove the sound that is heard once I unlock the screen. Its annoying, I tried removing it from the sound settings of the phone but it does work. There is an option there: "Screen lock sound" I unchecked it but the sound is still heard...

MHL Works on ours. There is a commit. Look for HDMI in commits, not mhl

By the by, and probably not related to this thread, sorry Chadouming, dvhexer fixed his cm at the beginning of August for mhl. I tested it and it works. Chadouming, if you want I can remove this post.

Hey guys, I've been using 10.2 since monday and so far, it's pretty solid!

Everything (I need, at least) works pretty good! I used to have an issue where a device would always ask for password when connecting over bluetooth, now it's gone!

Anyway, great day to day rom!

Hi, This is a continuation of the CM 10.1 nightlies thread. Things has been moving on and we are now at CM 10.2. I have been working with xboxfanj, houstonn and bbelos to bring you this. Again, this is based on mako with adapted change for optimus G. This time we are even more in sync with CAF (Code Aurora Forum).

    What is working
    Everything.

    What is not working

    You tell me.

Here are the repo needed for our devices :

    https://github.com/TeamPlaceHolder

Of course, you have to be rooted, to have bootloader unlocked and a working recovery to flash this custom rom.

DO NOT FLASH NEXUS 4 KENEL MADE BY 3rd PARTY. THIS WILL MOSTLY PERMA BRICK YOUR DEVICE.

This is simply because people tend to use partition number and not by-name and our partition is different than nexus 4 ones. i.e. The rpm partition on our phone is the boot partition on nexus 4. So flashing a custom kernel will flash a boot.img in your rpm partition and then you are bricked. You have been warned.

Like usually, i can't be hold responsible if you damage your phone during any of the process described in this thread.

    Thanks :

Thracky and houstonn who also works with me on this.

    Download

All the downloads will go here :

    ribs.bbqdroid.org

    Use geeb package

    Gapps package :

    http://goo.im/gapps

    Modem :

There is a newer modem now available (From JB update. Houstonn and I extracted each of them and made flashable so you don't need to do the painful process of kdz only to get a new baseband)

MAKE SURE TO NOT FLASH KOREAN MODEM.

How to intall that rom ?

This require you to have TWRP or CWM already installed on your device. I recommand the former. On our device, this mainly mean you have rooted your phone and unlocked the bootloader.

Apparently, it seems these instruction where not clear enough. So I'll try to make them dumbproof. If you are not following these instruction and it doesnt work, dont expect support. It's like buying a cake mix where you only need to add milk and call the company saying their product is bull****, you added water and only got a brick. To add to this metaphor, Asking if it's because you used CWM instead of twrp or reverse is like saying : Did it didnt work because i used a fork instead of a whip to mix it ?

To flash this rom, you have to be on older Bootloader. You can alternatively flash the bootloader i linked in this thread. Read the post carefully before you flash.

    1. Download file in the download section.
    2. Put the rom AND the gapps on your internal SDCard.
    3. Reboot into recovery.
    4. Flash CM rom.
    5. Flash Gapps package.
    6. DO A FACTORY RESET (EMPHASIS HERE)
    7. reboot into system

Is there ANY WAY you can add to this the changes in faux123's Nexus 4 kernel (see here http://rootzwiki.com/topic/36722-kernellinux-340-makojbuvoctuncifsv001-nov-30/#entry1032460) to reduce the horrible msm_hsic_host wakelock battery drain?

You sir, deserve a punch in the face. Come on. We are not at optimizing things. I'm still trying to figure out what is working or not. This is really stupid.

Note to all other user : I WILL NOT ACCEPT FEATURE BEFORE EVERY PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN SOLVED.

on a related note to your question, if you would have read carefully, you would have seen that i already use faux123 kernel . . .
Anyway, this is not going to be the case soon.
