GLONASS definitely works around the world just like GPS. I'm pretty sure it is enabled on the EVO 3D because when I check satellite connections I will have nearly 20 sometimes. Pretty sure it is a combination of GPS and GLONASS. I'm in the US.

So is Glonass turned on or just capable if turned on?
Why is just this little post all there is about it if it can improve GPS?

This post brings more questions but not answers?

Because there's only like 18 gps satellites and I constantly connect to 22-26

Never mind, apparently there's thirty. I was incorrect I apologize.

So I was wrong. Like xblackvalorx said there are 31 GPS satellites. According to this website:
http://odroid.foros-phpbb.com/t924-w...ce-supports-it
If you download the GPS test app and see what sattelites you are connected to 1-31 are GPS. Satellites numbered 65-88 are GLONASS. I downloaded the app and checked. I got 18 or 20 sattelites numbered anywhere 1-30 but nothing higher. I believe this indicates that GLONASS support is not turned on on my phone.
